Shut up and Sing has gotten a "two thumbs up" review today from Ebert and Roeper (with Michael Philips filling in for Ebert). In his review, Roeper claims that the "rightwing blogs" were the last to jump in on the story after the media, followed with background footage rolling of Natalie blaming Free Republic.
Concluding the review, Roeper exclaimed he "was proud to be from the same country as the Dixie Chicks."

So let me see if I've got this straight. When liberals boycott Rush Limbaugh and Dr. Laura, they're "exercising free speech," but when Americans boycott the Ditzy Chicks, they're "squelching free speech"?
That does it. I've got the pitchforks and the torches. Which way to the castle?

This thing MIGHT make a million dollars...but I wouldn't count on it.
It's more of Sundance Film Festival sort of crapfest.

I do believe that one of thing things Pelosi has pledged to accomplish in her first 100 hours is to make owning Dixie Chicks CDs mandatory and pay Not As Fat Nat and her pals reparations for the revenue we cost them.

No kiddin'? Yikes. And I think there are rumors that we'll all have to pick up a copy of John Kerry's Greatest Hits, too...

They could give it 10 fingers and 10 toes up plus a high-5 for all the good it will do.
The movie is tanking at the box office. Following the path of their concert tour.

So how do the Dixie Chicks incorporate the title of Laura Ingraham's book into their movie, or did they just steal it?
