Thanks AB, EC & Good Morning to EveryOne!

Just saw the President's simple message to people.

Themed in a call-and-response with the people -

“When it comes to listening in on the terrorists, what’s the Democratic answer?” - President.
“Just say no” - the audience.

“When it comes to detaining terrorists, what’s the Democratic answer?” - President.
“Just say no,” - the audience.

“When the Democrats ask for your vote November the seventh, what are you going to say?” - President.
“Just say no,” - the audience.

Very Nice.

Let us hope that Lugar finally takes a strong laxative before his appearance, and gets rid of that Howdy Doody Grin. The first one should accomplish two things.

I thought it very interesting in the 60 Minutes Stahl/Pelosi segment last Sunday that when Stahl accompanied Pelosi to the pep rally of the dems just before they went on vacation and out to the hinterlands to curry dem votes, Stahl in a voice-over said that Pelosi "punished" any dem legislator that veered from dem block voting.

Just for the record; again another Sunday is here, and the smartest woman in America, our Senator from New York (I use that term loosely)who is running for re-election, is not on ANY of these programs...again.

She'll be in a very sour mood if she has to return to congress next January still the minority leader.

IF you and I were raging feminists, we're be protesting the lack of female guests on the Sunday shows today.

I would go further and add some intelligent female panelist like Meloney Morgan, in replacement of Bill Kristol.

Good morning AB and everyone. Congratulations to the winners from last week too.

Well, for once the shows seem to have some good people on them. All seem to have something interesting possible. I would think Steel will wipe up the floor with Timmy & Co too.

I'm also looking forward to comments on Lynn Cheney's interview with CNN's Wolf Blitzer. I'm sure FNS will have a few choice comments. With 9 days until the election, I'm anxious to hear what Brit Hume has to say as well.

Thanks.

When I started posting this thread, there was only around 2-3000 active posters. Sometimes you could go 10-20 minutes without a single reply to any thread on a Sunday morning. I had always watched the Sunday shows (the only one that was any good was David Brinkley) and spent a lot of anger yelling at the tv, etc. So it was extremely wonderful to share my thoughts with others, and also listen to the (IMHO) brilliant analysis of the shows by intelligent, capable, CONSERVATIVE minds here on Free Republic. The fact that Free Repulbic grew so much over the years and this thread now gets hundreds of posts with a contest for the best posts is somewhat overwhelming, but the reason I stick with it still comes down to my happiness at being able to vent about the shows and read the great analysis!

ACK! Sidney Blumenthal is on Fox and Friends! And Kirin is STILL pushing that "win by losing" idea for the Republicans, and even BLUMENTHAL says it's an unproductive idea!

You know something, Bill Clinton's 60th birthday extravaganza tonight - with the added promise of a private Rolling Stones concert. But, Clintons' plans may end in a total fiasco!
