What surprises is this obsession of the Islamic clerics to killing and execution.The naïveté of gay-rights activists and leftists world-wide it utterly stupendous.
Illustrated here --- with the oh-so-chic use of the transitive verb "surprise" without an object (maybe English isn't this person's first language, but more likely it's an instance of a popular affectation of the PC crowd, routinely using transitives-without-objects in an unconscious expression of their own pretentious intellectual self-importance) --- it makes me wonder how such words would have sounded in 1934:
"What surprises is this obsession of the new Nazi government with killing and execution."

And even then, it's individuals who are part of the Christian Right who support the death penalty for those traditional capital crimes. It's not an integral part of any Christian teaching, anywhere.

You left out the fact that the girl's original crime, for which she was thrown in prison to be raped and then executed, was the crime of "being a rape victim".
By the way, these Imams who so routinely call for the execution of gays probably all (or mostly all) enjoy raping young boys. But that's ok, you see, because it's secret and never admitted to. It's the openly homosexual men and women who must be executed.

Hey, everybody. Slow down a minute. This story on the Imam is not just the usual carping on about how everybody is always "picking on" homosexuals.
More broadly, the Imam is stating "sex outside marriage is forbidden". It carries severe penalties, up to and including the death penalty.
This is not just about "gays and lesbians". There are a lot more sinners than homosexuals being involved here in death penalties for illicit sex.
I think most of us knew that. The article is interesting as it is being in a Gay magazine.
A Christian preacher who merely says in a sermon that homosexuality is "wrong" is likely to be very quickly charged with a hate crime. Every effort will be made to railroad him. An imam can threaten to kill homos and infidels and non believers and sinners all day long every day and nothing happens to him.

Once again, the Left in this country finds itself de facto supporting a movement, Islamofascism, under which, if it came to power here, they would be the first to sent to prison, executed, etc.
Liberalism has a big self-destructive streak. That's another reason Libs can't be trusted with national security.
