When people use "Weiner" sarcastically -- what they really wish they could use is the word Jew.

"Michael Savage" is fitting enough. He is thoroughly rational, conservative, and a good force on radio.

Most of us use "Wiener" because it is implies both "hot dog" and "dick."

Your post reveals an awful lot about you. Believe it or not, a person's being Jewish is irrelevant to most conservatives most of the time -- at least, in my personal experience with several generations of conservative family and friends.

When I use Weiner, it's as in Oscar Mayer...

See if you can understand this.

Dr. Weiner changes his name to "Savage", pretends to be Conservative, and does 3 hours of bashing other Conservatives with names like "Hush Bimbo", "Vanity", "the Leprecaun", etc. How funny is that, to have someone who fakes his own name, but makes a living off of calling people other names.

He is not going to get away with it.

Understand?

When people call Weiner by his real name, it's because his real name is Weiner.

I assume that Weiner, which is his real name, is pronounced "wine-er," and not "wiener." It seems to come from the German word "Wein," which means wine--something Michael once said that he doesn't like to drink.
