I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.
Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:
Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.
As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."
RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

Now bootless, quit exposing flaws in other peoples logic....that's not nice of you.
And you keep on being programmed by someone who
has convinced you that they are smarter than yourself.
Dumbass.
I like Levin, always did even before he got his radio show and I think he is a great asset in the trenches to help champion the conservative cause and I only wish his show leaps and bounds and I would be surprised if most Savage listeners didn't feel the same way.
By the same token the feeling isn't mutual from Levin's listeners toward Savage or his ilk for whatever reason. It seems to be my brand of conservatism is better than your brand, na-nah-nah-na-na!
If I want someone to defend conservatism, I like the way Savage or Levin or Coulter does it, but it seems in today's politically charged politically incorrect atmosphere the Republican Party does not care to defend or champion conservatism, they'd rather sell it under a new name and a new flavor but in the process the message has become just a skeleton of what it once was. Savage sees it now, eventually all conservatives will.
By not giving financial support to jerry "moonbeam" brown, ala michael wiener(savage).
Not enough people say this kind of stuff.
Most of those issues are common among 75% of America and doesn't make you into some super bread of Conservative.
That's funny, because all I hear is crickets on your thread when he...
Supports a minimum wage
Supports Moonbeam Brown
Claims global conspiracies against US companies
Claims conspiracies against Oil companies
I could go on and on. Contest those facts my FRiend, or at a minimum, answer how you agree with him on the minimum wage.
I have never heard one of you Weiner friends defend his minimum wage position.
Here is your chance.
Oh, sorry. I forgot myself for a moment.
(grin)
All I'd like to see here is some intellectual honesty in the argument. Yes, it pained me the first time I saw the President stumble in the immigration debate. It has been sorely disappointing. I would love for him to be the conservative's conservative. He's not. But he's a good man, who was the right man at the right time after the 9/11 attacks. But would I toss him overboard in favor of Kerry, just to "teach him a lesson?" HELL NO!
The perfect is the enemy of the good, and the Democrat Party is, for the most part, not pulling the rope in the right direction. And I don't want to vote them the "rope" to hang us all with.
Savage is a TALK SHOW HOST. Period.
He is NOT the Bush RNC (Republican National Committee) which supported both Arlen Specter and then Lincoln Chaffee against REAL Republican primary opponents.
These aren't the RINO political campaign contributions you're looking for.
Move along.
Note to self: better late than never on this post..........
Actually I'd prefer you just go on and on.
"superficial tripe"
Hmmm...what does that mean?
Here we are on a thread written by a national Conservative magazine which is critical of Dr. Weiner. I agree with everything written because it is the same stuff I have been telling you guys.
I can simplify it in my own personal way if you like.
Savage attacks all of us, so I'm just doing my duty and fighting back. He is bad for the Conservative movement. I beg you to realize this.
Well said.
And if agreeing with your point makes me a 'bot' - so be it...Just call me R2D2..."beep, ummmm, whirrrrl, beep"
Don't you hear the hate in his heart?
I beg you guys to realize how bad he is for the Conservative movement.
I said the above in post 368. Do you agree?
...What's Steve Doocey doing at the Pentagon?
who the hell is moonbean?
why u being mean to me?,,ohh, jus fukkit..
Savage is savage in his manners, his beliefs, his courtesy, his language, his voice tones, and is most interested in the preservation of Savage and really doesn't give a hoot about any of his inbound callers as he calculates he is the top cheese and his ideas (taken from others) are the utmost and will spare no words belittling moderates and other conservatives.
Maybe the wife put him up to it.
You really have an endearing personality.
Get some sleep, and don't forget to turn the clock back one millennium -where you belong.
