I've always known there was something wrong with Michael Savage's schtick. It's intolerable. He talks like an absolute madman. He is just about as intemperate as you can get and still be on the radio.
Now I know what was wrong. The whole thing is a put-on:
Supporting a candidate out of your own wallet may be the most accurate gauge of what a donor believes in his heart. So it should come as a shock to fans to learn where their hero distributes his own political gifts. Which are not ungenerous. Just ask Jerry Brown, the decidedly liberal candidate (pro-abortion, pro-gun control, etc.) for California attorney general.
As the San Francisco Chronicle reports, Savage is a top contributor to Brown's campaign against conservative state senator Chuck Poochigian. His gift of $5,600, the maximum allowable under state law, was merited, Savage told the Chronicle after being outed. Why? Because "You have to make choices in an imperfect world."
RIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGHHHTTTTT.

Oh, I see, anybody who doesn't like that jackass is an anti-semite. Go play in traffic you Jew-baiting loser.
I know he can't stand the feminists. I enjoy when he goes off on them. :)
LOL The "real Slim Shaky"
I hadn't known that he supported the minimum wage hike and didn't support Dubya on getting Social Security reform (see post #219), though I did know that he STUPIDLY jumped on the anti-Dubai ports deal bandwagon.
I can give him a pass on the Dubai thing, as many conservatives (Rush being the superb exception) were wrong on that, but supporting a minimum wage and tossing cold water on Social Security reform -- too late for him to knock that stuff off, although it was decidedly NOT in the best interest of conservatives nor, presumably, his own.
I still don't get why it bothers you that people listen to talk radio. It's something I enjoy. You don't enjoy it. The world continues to spin. There must be something out there you enjoy doing that I don't. In my younger years I used to go to heavy metal rock concerts now I go to see talk show hosts speak. It's fun, interesting, educational and my hearing is not affected from it.
Michael Savage- Left-winger, Bwahahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!!!!!!!!
SAVAGE!!!!
That's the point of it all. Savage is a Norman Lear Conservative.
Damn, otherwise you seem fairly level-headed.
It's demeaning. It is admitting that some media person
(that's what these talkers are, don't be fooled) knows more
than you and is qualified to teach you things.
These things they consider themselves qualified to teach
are nothing more than their own egocentric overblown opinions.
These opinions are put forth as fact, in an almost news-like format
so that gullible folks will believe them. It's seditious.
We spend so much time on FR debunking what the media tells us, tagging
it as leftist spin. How then is rightward spin more credible?
Spin is spin.
SAVAGE!!!!! ;-)
Then why didn't Weiner have Hannity on his show to support his opposition to the ports thing instead of Chuck Schumer? Oh, I forgot. Savage has a psychotic hatred of anybody more successful than himself.
We just trying to help fire up the most boring and mundane thread on the board. And for this we get no love!!!
He's a Trojan. But not the equine variety.
I agree with you. Michael has always hurt the conservative cause more than he has helped. He tricks some conservatives into buying his stuff, then gives their money to the left. figures
Just like Bush and the GOP trick conservatives into supporting Joe Lieberman, one of the most LIBERAL DEMOCRATIC SENATORS because it suits their desire for power?
Where do you get this manufactured tripe? Savage has never advocated voting for Democrats and is not advocating for anyone to vote for Moonbeam.
Savage's contribution to Moonbeam does nothing to help Moonbeam's chances of winning or hinder his Republican opponent's chances of losing. Afterall this is California and from what I understand it will be no contest. Savage's contribution to Moonbeam has no impact on the Rats gaining control of either Houses of Congress, nor does it have any impact on helping the Rats achieve the Presidency.
Savage defense of conservatism hasn't changed one iota and I don't see how this Moonbean donation has hurt that defense.
Agreed. Initially, he won me over during impeachment ...he quickly became repetitive and absolutely tedious for me. I was unaware however, that he had become unhinged of late...Jerry Brown, eh?
The GOP candidate in CN supports the war on Terror too.
I demonstrate the foundation of Michael Savage's radio presentation.
No, you have used a non-standard word, either and an appelation or description without evidence. That is a complete lack of demonstration.
