On the books...18 attempts with 13 dead.
Although I would be willing to wager that John Allen Muhammad probably has another dozen that he committed prior to meeting this kid. If we really got into this...I'd even bet he killed someone before the age of 18. We just will never know.

From the time of Lenin and Stalin through the Nazi Brownshirts to the PLO to Osama Bin Laden, terrorism is simply psychopaths acting out under a political or religious disguise. This psychotic father and son used religion as a vehicle for their deprivations the same way Al Queda rationalizes their murderous behavior. Stalin fought the Bolshevik revolution by robbing banks. This type of personality, and Tokie Williams was another example, are hard-wired and beyond any kind of therapy or redemption, like rabid dogs.

BS. According to what I read at the DUmp, people are like this because we don't have enough welfare and social programs.

This POS will never get the death penalty as long as there are liberal lawyers and judges, we'll be paying hundreds of thousands of dollars a year for these scum.

I think it has to do with the reason or agenda for the attacks. I don`t know why he did this, but I guess to classify it as a terrorist attack it would come down to whether he was just a psycho serial killer getting his rocks off or somebody who wanted to kill Americans in the name of Islam (or to impress democrats, same thing) or whatever.

As I understand it this pair of scumbags is suspected in sniper shooting in at least one other geographical area in the US besides Arizona and DC.

This story was on a news report on tv in Phoenix Friday night.
The daughter of the victim initiated contact with Malvo by letter, said she forgave him and wanted closure.
Why do some people behave this way?

A lot of people scream political correctness in this case (Michele Malkin included) because Malvo made some 9/11 drawings, post-arrest. Muslim terrorists never hesitate to claim victory in their god's name. None of the rambling notes at any of the sniper crime scenes had the usual Muslim dogma. These two were petty thieves and murderers, with their main aims being extortion and murder. One particular note at the scene demanded 10 million dollars be placed in an account.
It wasn't until well after they were caught that Malvo made his jailhouse doodlings. I think that had more to do with the fact he wanted to believe he was a part of something larger and more important, rather than just being a criminal. The fact they were converted muslims likely fed into their already disgruntled and murderous personalities, but no evidence points to it being the main reason for their crimes.
The snipings and panic is caused was certainly terrorizing. However, they were no more terrorists than University of Texas sniper Charles Whitman was.

Becuase some people have learned to live life with Christ in their heart.

But one must acknowledge that many terrorists finance their terrorism through petty crimes.

"I really do need to forgive him and I do believe he was brainwashed" by Muhammad, Witz said Friday. She should really need to see him electrocuted.
