This isn't the A380. It is the largest version of the A340 which competes against the 777-300ER and is touted as a one for one replacement for 747-100 and 747-200 aircraft except that they aren't as fast as 747's.
Don't know why,I have a soft corner for the 340!!!Probably coz it's 4-engined.
