This Ad Is So Powerful, A Sitting US Congressman [Democrat] Threatened TV Stations With Legal Action If They Dared To Play It...
(Excerpt) Read more at paulrnelson.com ...
"Ron Kind [Democrat WI 3rd Congressional District] has no trouble spending your money, he'd just rather spend it on sex, That's right. Instead of spending money on cancer research, Ron Kind voted to spend your money to study the sex lives of Vietnamese prostitutes. Instead of spending money to study heart disease, Ron Kind spent your money to study the masturbation habits of old men," states the 80-second "Sex study" ad Nelson has posted on his campaign Web site...
"Ron Kind," the ad continues, "even spent your tax dollars to pay teenage girls to watch pornographic movies with probes connected to their genitalia. Ron Kind pays for sex but not for soldiers."...
Ouch! That's going to leave a mark!
There is more info than this at the website (Nelson's), but if you would rather go straight to the ad to view it, click here:

Has it been aired?
I don't think so.
Yup. John Ford (D) has lawyers threatening to do the same thing.
Yup. Harold Ford (D) has lawyers threatening to do the same thing in Tennessee.
Buffering....................
Site must be getting crushed.
Well, is it John or is it Harold, Twinkie?
{{Harold}}
ROFL - good for him!
Really, it is sad what these libs will spend on. It's bad enough they spend at all, much less the liberal/libertine stuff they really want to fund.
Yeah, buffering. I gave up, but it's good to see so much interest.
I've think we've brought his servers down. It's taking forever to load.
I've heard the national party has asked him to pull the ad. He said he won't. He He.
I get to vote for this guy!
What makes it worse is that the allegation is bogus. These things were buried in an NIH budget; how many Republicans also voted for it?
But really, a spirit of bipartisanship lies behind this ad. Because when you get right down to it, the one thing that Democrats and Republicans can always agree on is that scientific research is always a waste of money and must be stopped.
The D's are threatening to sue over ads against them in Iowa Statehouse races, too.
Ya gotta hand it to them. They can dish it out, but they can't take it. Nope. They sue at the drop of a hat. Or Truth.
Yeah, if I remember correctly, Nelson adapted that ad for his campaign also.

"...Well, is it John or is it Harold, Twinkie?..."
Doesn't matter. The Fords are all interchangeable whne it comes to political dirt.
Bogus?
I seem to remember two days ago (on Gibson's radio show)that Nelson said that the info is in the congressional record.
