I live in Ohio. Despite the bogus polls showing DemoRATS
leading, there is a grassroots effort that matches 2004 in GOTV.
Republicans have high hopes for a "surprise" GOP win.
I guess Democrats had the same feeling...hence, the Black robe interception.

A federal judge on Thursday suspended Ohio's new voter identification law for early voting already under way, saying the state's 88 counties are inconsistently applying the rule for people filling out absentee ballots. Does that mean that any laws that are inconsistantly applied are somehow null and void on those grounds alone, and can be thrown out? I have some suggestions on which to toss first, if that's the case.

It takes just one rogue Federal judge to knock down a law approved by voters. Those immigration obsessed idiots, Buchanan/Lou dobbs supporters who are planning to sit down this election should understand what is at stake, the ability of the President to appoint constitutional judges to the Federal and Supreme court.

It takes a picture ID to cash a check, give blood, get on a plane, drive a car or open a bank account. It takes two forms of id to get a job or use an employee discount. Why is voting on the honor system?

Give up on Ohio We would need 10 percentage points over to beat the fix of vote fraud from the Dems.

Not to worry...
All the voting machine touch screens in the nation are currently set up to scan and record the fingerprints of all those who vote..
Those prints will be compared to all criminal warrants, illegal immigrant rosters, illegal voter data bases and to determine if anyone voted more than once, for later criminal prosecution...

We all know how liberal Judges will do their best to destroy this country.
To: perfect_rovian_storm
I think they did this a few day too soon for it to be carried out the way they want it to come out.
There is still time for the decision to be appealed to a higher court.

This is one of the states that ACORN was busy signing up illegals, dead people and anyone else they could. There's so much voter fraud in the country that we are going to lose, if this isn't overturned, the election will be thrown to the RATS. NM's RAT Governor Richardson took NM back to paper ballots. He's allowed illegals to obtain NM driver's licenses. With a valid NM license they can get driver's licenses in any other state they want. Once they do that, they can register to vote in any state. I wouldn't be surprised if Soros or MoveOn.org was taking them around to several states to help them get licenses and then obtaining absentee ballots. It could be a disaster.

Voter fraud by liberal democrats and unjust judges grows worse and worse each election and the worthless pubs do nothing but yammer and talk.
This election will be the worst yet for voter fraud as the elections are being fixed by those who hate God, America, and family and moral values.
Thanks for all the fish, republican fools. You had your chance and you blew it.

...labor and poverty groups who filed a lawsuit earlier in the week. The ruling is in effect until Wednesday, when the judge will consider arguments from the same groups seeking to block application of the identification law for voters who go to the polls on Election Day.
That's a consequence of living voters not showing up to the polls.

the temporary restraining order on behalf of labor and poverty groups who filed a lawsuit earlier in the week.
I am so sick and tired of the ACLU and the liberals accusing the republicans of attempting to "KEEP" the poor and minorities from voting. The fact is, the republicans and conservatives are trying to keep the dead, the animals and the illegal aliens from voting. The only way the democRATS will win office seats is to have all these "illegal voters" vote. I wonder if Osama Obama has his dirty little Playboy touching hands in this situation.

unfortunately, forcing citizens to buy id for voting purposes can be construed and has been construed by the judiciary as the equivalent of a "poll tax".
the courts usually view voting as an implicit right rather than as a privledge, so we have an uphill battle to keep ineligible voters from voting. perhaps we should try a different tactic
I don't see this as a great problem because every polling place in the US has a master list of all registered and eligible voters in the particular district. If a person used a fake name that is on the list and then the real voter came, then there would be real problems

I wonder how many dead and illegal aliens will be voting in Ohio.
Many methinks.
But they still won't beat the Pubbie turn out.

Here is the reason the democrats fight voter ID...
Valley's dead cast their votes Statewide database of registered voters has potential for errors and fraud
By John Ferro
Poughkeepsie Journal
Among the Journal's findings:
The Journal identified dead people on the voter rolls in all 62 counties and people in as many as 45 counties who had votes recorded after they had died.
One address in the Bronx was listed as the home for as many as 191 registered voters who had died. The address is 5901 Palisade Ave., site of the Hebrew Home for the Aged.
Democrats who cast votes after they died outnumbered Republicans by more than a 4-to-1 margin. The reason: Most of them came from Democrat-dominated New York City, where higher population produced more matches.
