Thank-you for the explanation....
..I'm sure we all wondered about the unusual idea of snakes in Norway....of all places.

It's not an unheard thing with my friend's story ...here in Florida... .although still rare for sure.

Didn't Kipling's fictional snake find entrance through a bathroom opening?

I would like to thank you for your comments.

It may seem strange, but we have three snake species here in Norway. They hibernate from October to April. Only one of them is venomous, the common adder. Their bite is not more dangerous to us humans than a sting from a wasp.

Living in a cold country is not all bad. Few snakes, no dangerous insects.
