Peter Gabriel's hit song "Shock the Monkey", is supposedly based on a similar act, in which the stripper "picks up" a Philippines currency coin (which has the image of a monkey on it).
I heard that story and similar ones 45 years ago. It is a myth I do believe. And an ugly myth about asian women.
It is also a fantasy of testosterone driven young men.
It made me and husband howl with laughter.
