You're not the messenger of a neutral view, you're the messenger and advocate for an insipid, irresponsible and idiotic view.
As Americans, we're endowed with great blessings and freedoms. With those blessings and freedoms, however, come great responsibility. Good government isn't something to be sold to you, or the result of someone explaining it to you in a persuasive and non-demanding way...it's your responsibility, it's YOUR government. That's the difference between citizens and subjects, and what Franklin was referring to when he replied, "A Republic, Ma'am, if you can keep it."
It's no politician's responsibility to educate, persuade, or sway you. You, as an American citizen, cause the government we get, for better or worse...the quality of the voter determines the quality of the politician, not the other way around.
If anyone needs to clean up their act, it's you...and your neighbors, for whom reality is bothersome, and therefore IRRELEVANT.
Oh, by the way, I sent Sen. Santorum a couple of hundred bucks even though I reside approx. 900 miles from his state.
Absolutely and Irrevocably Correct!
The time when one must decide whether to fight for freedom or cower in a socialist loiberal moonbat cave is rapidly approaching. There is no "middle ground."
I am cocked and locked.
Thanks for putting it on the chin.
