Superhero day in High School?

That's what I was wondering. And, couldn't they have waited a week?

Sounds like they were wearing more clothes than on any other NORMAL day.

It's not that uncommon for schools to have a week like that especially during the week of homecoming where every day has a different theme or activity.
Those girls knew exactly what the result was going to be when the put those outfits together. It's not unusual for kids to get sent home for wearing inappropriate attire. This is a lot of to do about nothing.

It's a Spirit Week sort of event. Schools all over have them. It's harmless.

Superhero day in High School? To take the place of Christmas.

My superhero is Jesus Christ. I wonder how they would react to that costume.
For what it's worth, I think the principal overreacted. The costumes are cute and they cover nearly all of the girls body. The objection seems to be that it's "flesh colored", and that's just silly.
