Do you think Rush Limbaugh went too far in accusing Michael J. Fox of exaggerating the effects of Parkinson's disease? * 115743
Yes. 84%
No. 14%
I don't know. 1.6%
I had to look into this one because the way the media reported it, it sounded like Rush did go too far. But then you find out that this is a tactic of Michael J. Fox that he has previously admitted using to enhance sympathy for his cause. Well, then that makes Rush's comment 100% accurate.

Thanks for the ping. I voted but it looks like the DU'ers have been busy. If the poll goes much more in the DU direction it will be invalidated.
No question Rush Limbaugh is one of the leaders in the current conservative movement, but I don't agree with him on this cheap shot at Fox and I didn't agree with him on his shot at Donovan McNabb a few years back.
P.S. I'm a Patriots fan not Eagles just to make that point clear !!!
Thanks for your participation. We need a few more FReepers to get this thing in better territory.
Were you aware of all that? And if so, do you still think it was wrong for Rush to say?
As Rush often says....he knows liberal better than, well, you know!
He knows exactly what he's saying and how the lamestream media will react. He plays them like a fiddle. It's a thing of beauty.
As for the "Fairness Doctrine" or anything else the libs might try to squelch conservative voices. I believe technology will always outpace their ability to shut it down. We will find a way to get the message out.
Now 81% to 18%
Come on FReepers - we all have a friend or two, right? Or is tonight's crowd the "I don't like people much and prefer to keep to myself" crowd haha! :)
Did you know this is really a cloning issuue and not really an issue about stem cell. Check the bill out !
They didn't even report the story accurately. I have no faith whatsoever that the results of this questionnaire will be truthfully reported.
This makes me sick. Either he's an American, or he's not. I supposed he took Am. "dual citizenship" because U.S. taxes are lower than Canada's not because of any particular affection for this land. We should force them all to choose, and not let them have it both ways.
I not only voted with Rush on the poll, I went in and rated the story as a one-star...there...take that MSNBC! And, Rush has up to 20 mil listeners a week, not 10...
Until Conservatives truly start fighting back and calling a spade a spade the dems will continue to beat us up in the public arena.. Rush was exactly right to say what he said. I'd love to hear Ann Coulter's take on this.
I voted in the poll...I think Rush didn't say anything that Mr Fox hasn't admitted to...
No I wasn't aware of the fact Fox was "faking it" and to be honest I'm not a stem cell research supporter. That being said I don't agree with Limbaugh on this one and as I said in the first posting sometimes I think he opens his mouth and inserts his foot !!!
"I not only voted with Rush on the poll, I went in and rated the story as a one-star...there...take that MSNBC! And, Rush has up to 20 mil listeners a week, not 10..."
I did the same.
The poll is now even better: 80% to 18%
yes--80%
no--18%
It was a cheap shot to use a pathetic sick man to make false claim in a political race, and then expect that there can be no criticism of that person.
And besides, if not taking meds makes a parkinson's patient "freeze up", then why did Fox admit to doing such when he testified to Congress?
