1/3 way down on the right
Didn't catch it, but did Sean go after the lies directly that Fox in his ads was backing?
The video link is in post number 1 in this thread. Sean did a GREAT job!
Freedom of speech doesn't guarantee freedom from criticism.
Did Michael J. Fox Intentionally Go "Off His Meds" To Provoke Sympathy?
(a) Yes, it looked contrived
(b) No, he's just passionate
(c) Rush Limbaugh has nerve
(d) His message is important
What does any of this mean? What do the results mean? This is just stupid!
I'm not so sure.
The left got caught with its hand in the cookie jar and it is amusing to see them trying to wriggle out of it.
What you fail to realize is that the very same people who are eager to classify some people as less than human are equally eager to classify other people as greater than human. You can be quite sure that Michael J. Fox would be in that latter group.
For instance, in the UK, certain life-saving treatments, like liver transplants, are reserved for people who are considered "National Treasures". Everybody else must go on a long waiting list, which is really a Wait-To-Die list. Ordinary people are just not important enough to merit the expenditure of government money, you see.
But celebrities, politicians and a few others are worth more than the rest of us ordinary humans. Michael J. Fox is surely one of these select few.
I don't believe it and neither (I think) does Michael J. Fox. The communists would throw each other in jail/execution whenever the party line changes. Michael J. Fox will be a forgotten memory within 2-3 years once he comes bed ridden and unable to talk (or defend himself). The Hollywood elite will forget him in a heart beat.
This is truly dirty politics - someone playing up their disease to get votes is a new low.

If he was not, would this deter him? Unlikely.

Well I don't agree with Michael's position on the matter however, he does have a right to relay his opinion. Just because he has a disesase does not eliminate him from the process.
It's sort of like Ann and the Jersey Girls. If you are going to put yourself out there it's fair to critize(it's fair Rush to ask the question "Did he go off his meds for the spot?"
But Michael has every right to use his disease to find a cure. It's easy for you sitting over there to say he shouldn't do it but you probably do not have the disease. I welcome Michael's opinion to the debate but his shaking aside I do not feel that his opinion is correct.
Let people educate themselves and decide if the cure is lesser or greater of two evils. I see no reason to take that discourse away from them.
- Ratt was playing on the radio
- The "Rock Me Amadeus" video was #1 on MTV
- McDonald's introduced this bizarre invention called "Value Meals"
- The first show of the second season of "Night Court" aired
- David Letterman had been on the air for 27 months
Calling for taste and discernment is not the same as suggesting something should be banned.

How very true. My guess is, according to M.J. Fox, Parkinson's doesn't get a cure until our tax dollars pay for it. What a liberal this guy is! Where are all of his wealthy Hollywood friends to donate loads of $$ to the cause? Everything always off the backs of the regular, everyday taxpayers.
Rush mentioned Sean's GMA appearance during the first hour of his radio show. Sean WASN'T bashing Rush at all.
