Well I don't agree with Michael's position on the matter however, he does have a right to relay his opinion. Just because he has a disesase does not eliminate him from the process.
It's sort of like Ann and the Jersey Girls. If you are going to put yourself out there it's fair to critize(it's fair Rush to ask the question "Did he go off his meds for the spot?"
But Michael has every right to use his disease to find a cure. It's easy for you sitting over there to say he shouldn't do it but you probably do not have the disease. I welcome Michael's opinion to the debate but his shaking aside I do not feel that his opinion is correct.
Let people educate themselves and decide if the cure is lesser or greater of two evils. I see no reason to take that discourse away from them.
Calling for taste and discernment is not the same as suggesting something should be banned.

When it comes to an attack ad late in an election cycle, "discourse" is the last thing on MJF's mind, "discourse" is the last thing on McHassle's DC handler's mind.
He certainly has the right to his opinion but he doesn't have any rigth to lie, dissemble and slander men like Jim Talent.
Why Michael does not have the right to do is dissemble or slander people.
