"He is exaggerating the effects of the disease," Limbaugh told listeners today, encouraging them to go on-line to watch Fox's commercial, which first aired Oct. 21 in St. Louis during a World Series game. "He's moving all around and shaking and it's purely an act."

Here come the hit pieces on Rush. Funny, the reporter neglects to report what Rush found, that Fox wrote in his book that he went off his meds when he testified to Congress to show the effects of the disease.

Indeed.

It is well known that those suffering from Parkinson's, including Mr. Fox, typically have 2 choices. Shake uncontrollably, or loose the capacity to communicate and interact in a semi-normal fashion.

Many who deal with this disease daily understand the challenges of the affects of their medication, and accept its limitations.

"rush limbaugh" made the choice to vilify the suffering of a Parkinson's patient rather than research the facts surrounding the condition and its treatment.

Pathetic, rush has reached an all-time low, even for him.

While the position of supporting the sanctity of life is paramount to all other positions.............. limbaugh's remarks and their political motivation are simply unacceptable.

So it's perfectly OK that Fox, as he said in his own book, deliberately went off his meds before testifying to Congress so that he could better dramatize his condition? That's certainly a self-imposed 'limitation' on the effects of the medication but I consider it a clearly despicable one.

Michael J Fox's ad is deceptive, dishonest and politically motivated. I think MJF's ad is simply unacceptable.

Pathetic, the clueless have reached an all time low even for them.

Michael J. Fox Is Not Infallible; He's Just the Latest Victim Used by the Democrats

Democrats have long used infallible spokesmen to peddle their dishonest attacks, but we're not going to accept it anymore...

"All stem cell research is legal today in Missouri. Jim Talent does not seek to criminalize it, as Michael J. Fox asserts in his television commercial. The truth is that Amendment 2 would put human cloning in the Missouri Constitution. Michael J. Fox is participating in this disinformation campaign." More Quotes

Let me see if I can simplify this for you.

1. Yes, regrettably Michael J. Fox Has Parkinson's Disease. The fact that he went off his meds to amplify the sympathy factor was a deception. It was an act, if he did not take meds to control what can be controlled. Rush was right.

2. You have to understand there is Fetal Stem Cell research and Adult Stem Cell Research. Republicans will not back GOVERNMENT funding of Fetal Stem Cell Research. Adult Stem Cell Research is okay. There is nothing to keep private (non-government) research and development to find cures for everything with their own money. If there was a hint that this was possible, don't you think big time medical research companies would dive into this with both feet and try to make the big bucks? Has anyone been cured or helped because of Stem Cell Research so far? Not that I know of.

The MSM is despicable when they lump all "Stem Cell research" into one category and say the Republicans oppose it. Of course, we all know they lie.

3. It's very clear to me that this is only a political issue and not a scientific issue. Until someone comes up with some kind of victory over any disease using stem cells, this is a gigantic political smoke screen and you and Michael Fox fell for it.
