Not really - the national media is making this into a racial thing and by Corker backing away from it, it gives the charge credence.
Corker was just on CNN and it made it look like RNC was running racial ads. He should just say there is nothing racial about it but it isn't his first choice for an advertisement.
Instead Corker is acting like the advertisement is just horrible. He should ask Ford what is racial about it. The charge is that a white woman is flirting with him. If Ford says that is racist then does he mean that blacks shouldn't be allowed to date whites?
