Hillary Encourages Obama to Run in 2008

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton said Monday that it was great her fellow Democrat, Sen. Barack Obama, is thinking about running for president.

Polls show Clinton is the front-runner among potential 2008 Democratic presidential contenders and she said Friday during a debate that she has also been thinking about running.

"I think it's great that anybody thinks about whatever they want to do in the future," she said when asked about Obama during a campaign stop at a senior citizens' center just north of Albany.

"I'm focused on my campaign. I'm focused on reaching as many voters as possible, talking about the issues," she added. "And, that's what I'm going to be doing for the next few weeks."

Polls show Clinton far ahead of her Republican challenger in New York, former Yonkers Mayor John Spencer.

Clinton, during a debate Friday night against Spencer in Rochester, said she has been thinking about running for president but has made no decision about that. She said if that bothered New York voters, they should consider it when they go to vote next month.

Obama said during an appearance on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday that he was thinking about running for president. The Illinois Democrat was largely unknown nationally when he delivered a widely acclaimed address at the 2004 Democratic National Convention.

Well, hopefully it won't come to that.

Seriously, Hillary may hope Obama does well in the primary season and gets publicity. Then, she can pick Obama as her running mate. She hopes he does well in the primary season but not so well that he jumps past her for the top spot.

Would Hillary accept the Veep nomination if offered? I wonder if Hillary would accept VP, or for her it has to be the top dog or nothing for her.

If Hitlery opens her mouth, she lies-don't believe a word of it.

Only because she knows she would easily beat him in the primaries.

The question is, does Obama know that?

Rumor has it that internal polling is showing Spencer/Clinton in a dead heat.

There's a real chance of an upset here.

Which one of these will the drive by media choose for its ultimate "darling"? It's a tough pick, but my money goes on Hillary. The drive byers have invested way too much time and energy reinventing Hillary to let that go for nought.

Watch for some very startling and unflattering gossip to surface about Osama Obama in the next few weeks or months>

If Hitlery were VP, the President wouldn't live very long.

****She said if that bothered New York voters, they should consider it when they go to vote next month. ***

She is one arrogant POS. She knows she owns these people. They fall on their knees to be around her. They are like Lemmings being led to the sea.

If Hillary gets elected New Yorker will be proud that one of their senators got to be president, even though she is no more a New Yorker than was George Wallace. Only one place in this Country more stupid than New York voters is Massachusetts.

Hillary! needs a front runner or two to provide cover for the next year or so. Front runners at this stage never seem to make it past the convention.
