My oldest son stands alone on a corner just down the street from these cretins holding up a sign which reads "I stand with President Bush and our Troops". He does this most Saturdays for hours, all alone.

What can I say. East coast here.

Sadly I'm out of state until the 29th otherwise I would attend this FReep.

I'm experiencing goose bumps right now as I read this post. My son and I, along with my 7 year old granddaughter are so very much looking forward to this rally and seeing as many of my FRiends who can attend. We've sent invitations to the local CSU, Chico Republican's Club, and are contacting the VFW as well. Hopefully this rally will have a big turn out to demonstrate support for those who serve during this time of war.

Dang! My first chance at a FReep.

Almost in my "backyard" too.I'm towing a moving trailer to Oregon Friday for my Mom.

You will meet some nice folks in Chico,and of course some Wacko's [it is a university town , and very liberal]

Take the thirty minutes to visit the Sierra Nevada Brewery facility.It is beautiful.[good food also,but a little noisy]
