Wow it's hard to believe that "Father Knows Best" was on the air some 50 years ago. I remember watching the reruns as a kid in the 70's and I think NBC even had a reunion movie in the late 70's.

BTW, one of the most calssic SNL satires was when Ricky Nelson(also now deceased, RIP) hosted SNL in the 70's and they had Rick Nelson stuck in the Twilight Zone and every house he went to was another 50's sitcom other than Ozzie and Harriet. He made sojourns through "Leave it to Beaver", "Father Knows Best", and "I Love Lucy" and Bill Murray was brilliant with his Eddie Haskell impression.
