shelving legislation to ban forced marriages
This is the most incredible thing to me. Can you imagine if the Church of England, or any other Christian Church, gave the slightest hint of criticism of women in the workplace? Can you imagine if even one priest made one remark about a woman's place being in the home? Can you imagine the outcry from the self-proclaimed "feminists" of England?

But actual slavery, on British soil, slavery of women, large numbers of women, officially sanctioned slavery, lifetime servitude to whatever bearded, bathless cretin the poor woman's father feels like selling her to... well, I guess when it comes to that, the "feminists" are off doing other things. Too busy to talk about that. Suddenly they're all soccer moms, or something, and don't really have much time for politics.

There is nothing lower on the planet than a leftist. A nematode worm walks tall compared to the average cringing leftist coward who sells out his/her country in the morning and his/her "core beliefs" in the middle of the afternoon. What disgusting slime they are.

Well it was the Church of England school that asked the women to remove her veil now some see this as discriminating against her and her freedom's.

She claims that she did not actually wear the veil whilst teaching but only when a male colleague entered the room that seems the crust of the matter.

Personally I cannot stand to see women with the veil for 2 reasons.

1) It signals oppression though Muslims in England say no it signals freedom because it is their choice and no one forces them to wear it.

2) In this day and age of terrorism you cannot identify the person on security videos/photos/CCTV or by personal recognition.

I am not sure if I would go as far as France have and ban head scarfs in schools because I am sure there are some Christian sects/dominations that still wish to wear some form of head covering in public but I think it maybe something to consider.
