The figures are stark. An average of 112 cars a day have been torched across France so far this year and there have been 15 attacks a day on police and emergency services. Nearly 3,000 police officers have been injured in clashes this year. Officers have been badly injured in four ambushes in the Paris outskirts since September. Some police talk of open war with youths who are bent on more than vandalism.

Kind of ironic that in the French socialist state, the proletariat -- many who are Muslim and Moroccan -- is rising up due to racism and economics (the underclass doing the crap jobs.) Being Muslim just adds more fuel to the flame.

Sounds like civil war, to me. I would advocate splitting France into two countries, Muslim, and non-Muslim.

I thought that everything was wonderful over in Frogistan! I remember hearing how much better things would be over here if we just followed the lead of the Euroweenies, especially the French! John Kerry (didn't he serve in Viet Nam? I heard a rumor!) said so! And he's so nuanced!
