What a tragedy.

Wow. Over a speeding ticket. Wonder what the guy would have been capable of it he had been stopped/arrested for something really serious. Seems like a lot of Americans have absolutely LOST their moral compass.
America, Mene Mene Tekel Upharsin.

One more American hero gone!

charged with capital murder of police officer I have a feeling that the great State Of Mississippi has some rather harsh penalties in store for this moron.

A fitting torture penalty would be to have the driver undergo the same punishment to his own death.
I want a torture penalty.

Oh, look! A posh G'town boy! Bet his daddy gonna hire the best lawyer money can buy.

As highly as I think of police on traffic revenue duty, which isn't very highly at all, dragging an officer to death is not a reasonable response.
It's a shame the electric chair has fallen into disfavor as its application to this maggot infested college punk would include giving him a much needed haircut.

Typical Ole Miss $$$hole fratboy. Word on one of the sports boards is that he's an SAE. Did something stupid, and now he's looking at doing a whole lot of time, and Parchman isn't a fun place for a white kid. I'll be shocked if he gets the death penalty, though. Daddy probably already has a team of lawyers working overtime.

I'm wondering if the officer hung on, was snagged by something on the car or what and how fast was the car moving when the officer came off?
It's a hell of a shame to lose an officer this way.
