"He looks good on TV!" LOL! Perfect for the Southern audience!
Watch it at the link.... http://powerlineblog.com/archives/015611.php
I found the Club for Growth ad!
I could only get it to load on the Real Player link.
It's even better than I remembered (I left out "body-piercing". LOL!)

That last line from the lady just perfectly ties up the whole ad - very funny. LOL
Did you forget the Club for Growth ad that showed that guy not being able to make up his mind as a play on Kerry's flip-flopping? I think that one was even better.
corker has a good ad....let's all hope that it helps beat the pants of ford......what a desperate measure by ford...crashing corkers press conference....typical lib/dem...no platform/no issues...let's just smear the republican....has he played the race card yet...or is that the last act to come???
Was that the one on the sail board?
That was one run by the Bush campaign just showing Kerry himself reversing directions while on the board.
The one I am speaking of showed a guy who couldn't make up his mind about anything causing all kinds of problems - a firefighter who kept changing his mind about how to diffuse a bomb (or something like that), then he couldn't decide on a number of other things, including showing him at his wedding this dumping his bride and then making out with one bridesmaid after another and finally going for the priest at the end.
Oh yeah! I liked the first one better, though, because it defined all liberals so well. I wonder who makes their ads?
Ken Mehlman needs to get them on board and needle the heck
out of the Donks for the next 18 days.
I was amazed a few minutes ago when our local news (DFW) ran the story of Ford's stunt and it wasn't very nice. They ended with something to effect that Ford said he didn't violate campaign ethics. This is a race being run 500 miles away and it makes news in Dallas, unreal.
Donks have gotten so accustomed to favorable media treatment, they think the media will bury it when they come off looking like jerks.
I have a sneaky suspicion (just a hunch) that the MSM may be starting to wake up from their binge, realizing they've gone completely in the tank for the Dems. Though I never put any faith in MediaCrats, I wouldn't be surprised to see some of the biggies start hedging their bets this week.
I believe that was a David Zucker produced ad. It was a gem.
I still don't get way the club of growth wanted to take out Dean before the election for.
Sorry. I couldn't get it to play. Drat. dang. Durn it. Dad Burn it. Those were my grandpa's cuss words.
the Ford history here in Tennessee indicates that any moves to the right are purely to grab votes. He's a leftie, and given his family history, a crooked one at that.
Oh no!
I tried to find another link, but the only possibility kept freezing up. You can try it here

But, he does look good on TV...
He'll say anything. His votes are as liberal as they come. Just like another famous Tennessee "junior" who did the same thing on his switch from the House to the Senate. That conservative democrat was Albert Gore, Jr.
Bill Clinton sounded relatively conservative, for a Democrat, when he ran in 1992, and he can come across as a warm, likeable person--from a distance. I think Harold Ford, Jr., is a lot like Bill Clinton (without the brains or he would have passed the bar)...not really a conservative and actually a nasty mean-spirited person, to judge from his conduct in the campaign.
This strategy can fail as well. I recall a similar string of names hurled by Faircloth at Edwards (NC Senate -- '98?)
....Edwards won. The same approach but more humor might have helped...
It just occurred to me.
Going back to the Corker ad, he points out that Ford is glib, went to "finishing school" in D.C., never worked in the private sector...and, unsaid, he never passed the bar.
Sound familiar? It's Gore all over again, right down to the fancy private D.C. school. And Gore didn't carry Tennessee either.
