Well .. Bush was the "stupid" president so I guess I'm in good company.

I think you missed the point. Prager doesn't mean "stupid" as in "mentally challenged". That's what the liberals think of Republicans. Prager refers to the fact that the Republicans play nice and get their clocks cleaned by the Democrats. They refuse, out of some stupid sense of gentlemanliness, to see the Democrats for what they are-mean, conniving, ruthless thugs- and therefore cede the political field of battle to them.

Heck, if it weren't for the folks in the New Media doing their fighting for them, the Republicans wouldn't stand a chance.

While I agree with that statement, I do think it's changing. Several repubs have been stabbed in the back recently (last few years), to the point that some of them are starting to fight back.

This new issue of firing a dem staffer linked to Jane Harmon is a good example. She leaked classified info re Cunningham .. so the repubs decided to shoot back and fired the dem staffer. Some repub congress person said that if the ranking dem on their committee wanted to play politics with intel info, they could play that game too.

I'm glad to see this happening.

Also .. Rush pointed out the last few days that it was the House Republicans who have kept us from having the amnesty garbage bill from McCain/Kennedy. That was a great victory for America - and I hope repub voters are willing to keep them in office - and if they're not willing - WE WILL HAVE TO DEAL WITH MILLIONS OF ILLEGAL MEXICANS BEING GIVEN CITIZENSHIP - without having to earn it.

Let's not be stupid this election day. The dems are not friends and their agenda is very scary. If you don't know what their agenda is - let me know - I have a list of the legislation THEY HAVE ALREADY WRITTEN AND HAVE WAITING IN THE WINGS TO FOIST UPON US - should they win the House.

The last time I looked the Republicans controlled the House, Senate, the Presidency and have made real inroads on changing the judiciary.

With a record like that you seem to think they should emulate the Democrats tactics of trashing opponents.

The Republican leadership is doing what works. You want them to do what doesn't work. That is just plain stupid.

You propose to make the base happy (that is 35 percent of the voters) and tick off the remaining 65 percent. That is a prescription for defeat.. but that must be what you want.
