They refuse, out of some stupid sense of gentlemanliness, to see the Democrats for what they are-mean, conniving, ruthless thugs- and therefore cede the political field of battle to them.

The last time I looked the Republicans controlled the House, Senate, the Presidency and have made real inroads on changing the judiciary.

With a record like that you seem to think they should emulate the Democrats tactics of trashing opponents.

The Republican leadership is doing what works. You want them to do what doesn't work. That is just plain stupid.

You propose to make the base happy (that is 35 percent of the voters) and tick off the remaining 65 percent. That is a prescription for defeat.. but that must be what you want.

They have a majority, but they do not control the the Senate. The Drive-By Media controls the Senate. If the Republicans truly controlled the Senate, there would not have been so many delays on judges, and there would not be so many delays on the judges that are still waiting, waiting, waiting.

Politics is a rough game. Americans know that and expect politicians to play rough. The Republicans have never gained respect from the American people by rolling over for the Democrats.

The Republicans have been successful because of the effectiveness of the New Media, not because of their honorable fecklessness.

defeat.. but that must be what you want.

No, I want Democrat lawbreakers to be prosecuted the same as Republicans. I want the Republican politicians to join together in denouncing Democrat lies. I want the Republicans to stop trusting the Democrats. I want the Republicans to stop cowering and act like men.
