".....present the unvarnished truth as best we can," CNN producer David Doss wrote......"

True - if he means that the unvarnished truth consists of CNN's longing for us to lose the war. First CNN's Arnett assures Muslim terrorists that Americans are "afraid" and certain of loss in Iraq, then we are confronted with a CNN honcho who (in Sweden no less) claims that American troops are targeting embedded media personnnel, now we are treated to this. When, oh when, will CNN be kicked off the air in the U.S. and let the rest of the world support their American-hating butts???

Whatever day it is, it will be yet another day in the destruction of our beloved Constitution. :-( Let's not forget what our troops are fighting for--it's not to make Iraq free to eliminate freedom of the press!

Now, if you meant to say "driven off the air by low ratings and their own business decision," then it would be a different story. But I think that advocating disregard of the First Amendment is as anti-Free Republic as what CNN is doing (though I don't presume to speak for JimRob when I say anything about FR. :-)

I don't like to see our troops cut down any more than you do--any day, my brother could be one of them. :-( And our response as good American citizens should be to get the word out to other good people of this country and the world that the truth is one thing--if unvarnished--but CNN is actually painting the truth over with its own colors (pink and red?).

FRegards..
