I loathe CNN! I saw that footage and it was sickening. Then last night that old goat, Jack Cafferty, had a program titled "Broken Government". I could only watch a tiny bit since he makes me absolutely sick, but it seemed to be him spouting his own hatred about Pres. Bush and the Republicans. He was reading emails that people were sending in during the program and the little I saw, he obviously only picked the ones that had the same views as he. Wasn't he involved in some accident when he was drunk awhile back? He and CNN should be booted off the air!

My wife is a school teacher. One of her colleagues is a veteran. Naturally they both have pictures of the president in their classrooms - whoever the president happens to be at the time.

Their principal was genuinely curious was to why they would do that. I'm surprised the schcool system doesn't supply the photos and require them to be posted, but that's just me.

I mention this to show that there is an inversion, a pernicious inversion, of civic values in the US. (Okay. I admit that's not news. Consider this a lament - not to be confused with a senatorial candidate in CT)

I think that to the CNN staff, their perfidy, more reminiscent of Tokyo Rose than of Edward Murrow, really seems to be a virtue. They have, I think managed to deceive themselves into thinking that waging a propaganda war with terrorists and enemies against the US is a duty.

The pious among us need to rededicate ourselves to prayer, and I think I will get all my weapons blessed. I really think the compost is going to hit the air conditioner big time, and we need to prepare every way we can.

Duncan Hunter's son is a Marine who just returned from Iraq, I think, so it would naturally be even more infuriating to him that CNN would air footage of our soldiers being shot by a sniper. There are simply no words, at least moderator-proof words, that can describe the anger I have at CNN for this blatant attempt to sway the American voter.

I have always been opposed to secondary boycotts, but in this case I am making an exception. We need to find out who CNN's biggest advertiser is and let them know by the millions that we will not buy their product or service as long as they use their ad money to support an organization that is so detrimental to the interests of the Unites States.

Something has to give. Poor ratings haven't done the trick. At some point we have to put our foot down and tell the MSM "no more!"

I am so pissed at CNN that I've even blocked them from the channel searching on my TV to avoid the possibility that I have to see them for even the two seconds it takes to run past them in the lineup!

This coupled with their admitting that they censored news about the atrocities of Saddam before the war in order to assure the safety of their news operation in Baghdad is enough to put me over the edge.

This is the email I sent to CNN--went under search for CNN and found a contact method. This is sad.

This is the last thing you will hear from me. CNN's decision to show an enemy sniper shooting an American finishes any interest I may have had (although waning for years) in watching CNN or particpating in any market device you have.
I know it is the newsroom whose agenda is to undermine our efforts in the war. We are at war, ladies and gentlemen and I'm sad you don't understand it. Don't suggest you're simply against the way it is being waged--would you have us fight it in even a more politically correct way? No, that will not suffice. I'm tuning out and telling as many family, friends and people as I can to consider doing the same. I've had enough.
I recognize the chances of my lone voice being heard is infintely small--that's okay. You do your anti-American thing under the guise of being "objective," and I'll do the best I can to discourage anyone giving you ratings. Enough.
