He even has to change the Paraple of the Good Samaratan!! Why can't these people just accept the Word?? Rather they have to make gummit the god.

Pray for W and The Election

If you put a pig in a tuxedo, you don't have a gentleman, you have a pig in a tuxedo.

The pig doesn't have to fool everyone.

It doesn't have to fool most people.

It just has to fool enough people.

Exactly, and from what I see out of these liberals they are on the hunt for The Good Samaritan 'spirit' to fund their own personal economy.

All these years later, Clintons word play on 'it's the economy, stupid' tells the liberal story. Clintons bank account is the only economy that prospered under their reign. The national economy disclosed an economy of cooked books.

I'd like to see the Democrats pray, in public, for THE LORD's protection of our troops and for their success in Iraq.

Great point!

[The pig in a tux] just has to fool enough people.

Rove has a plan for this I'm sure.

Throw a little slop toward the "guys" in the tuxes and see who can't resist "pigging out."

Thanks. I know some democrats who go to church, but they don't vote straight ticket. I have several cousins who live in Austin. They tend to be more moderate than liberal. Most would vote for people like Lieberman rather than her Thighness.

Back when the democrats controlled Texas, many church going people voted for them. I used to vote split ticket, until President Peanut came along. That was the last time I voted for any person with a (D) behind their name. I didn't vote for jimma, but did for several (D's) in local races.

I am changing my tag line until after the elections. It is a quote from our Pastor during an informal meeting.

"I don't know how anyone can go to Church on Sunday, and vote for a democrat the following Tuesday."

It's kinda hard to do when you're an atheistic Marxist.

The Good Samaritan is walking down the road and cares for a stranger who has been beaten and robbed, Price said. The next day, on the same road, another person has been beaten and robbed. So it goes for another week -- more robberies, more victims.

"How long is it going to take before the Samaritan says, 'Hey, maybe we ought to patrol this road,' " Price said. In other words, the lawmaker argued, there are some problems that individuals can't solve on their own. They require the resources of a morally responsible government.

I believe he was misquoted. This is what he REALLY said:

However I like MY scenario better...

Of all Spoonerism or Freudian Slip misspellings, yours is the most Orwellian I've seen yet. 'Progressive' Propaganda... wow. The verse nails it.

How long is it going to take before the Samaritan says, 'Hey, maybe these people need a GUN to protect themselves because the government sure can't.'

Keen insight!!

Democrats are always trying to swap the spiritual responsibilities of the individual and government. They are different.

Re: your tagline.

About two years ago the head pastor of our previous church (we moved out of state) gave a sermon on politics. He said what you need to do is assess your own values, then assess the values of the political parties, then align yourself with the party that most closely matches your own values.

That being said, if you are truly a Christian, then having anything to do with the Democrat Party with its present agenda of infanticide via abortion, wealth confiscation and redistribution, pro-homosexuality, and not being able to protect the gift of life (gun control), then you must be insane or a Unitarian.

Government is neither moral nor immoral, it just is. As far as dims getting the vote of the Christian Right, so long as they champion issues such as abortion on demand and gay marriage...never happen.

The dems will NEVER connect with Christians, because they are not "connected" to the leader of Christians. It's that simple.

And .. it's the key most people don't understand. The dems look at Christianity as some sort of club or organization .. not a relationship with God.

Kerry thought his pretence of peity (by being SEEN having communion at church) was all it took. Clinton did the same thing .. being seen carrying a Bible from church was supposed to prove he was a great guy. This is so fake and to those of us who are Christians .. it's even more obvious that most dems are not Christians.

If the Dems are really interested in bridging the "God gap", they might start by reading the Gospel accounts where Jesus called down woe on the hypocritical priests and scholars and figuring out just how much of His rebuke could apply equally well to them.

I agree with that statement. How some supposedly Christian people can align themselves with the liberal party, I don't know. I work with people who attend Church every Sunday, and still vote for the (D) party.

They themselves don't like high taxes, don't believe in abortion, and are against same sex marriage. When they get into the booth, they still pull the lever for the dims.
