I'm surprised that Senator Nelson would even agree to do one debate. A decent showing by Harris will help her, and she could use all the help that she can get from now on.

Thanks for the post. I hope Katherine gets a chance to ask a few questions of Nelson herself instead of the debate being tightly scripted.
If her or her election team is on FR, please have her ask Nelson about all his votes supporting late term abortions and bumping (denying) an astronaut off a space mission so as he could get his sorry butt onboard.

As someone postulated yesterday on this forum, if Harris did badly in this debate, today it would be front page news. Looking at today's SHT (that's "Sarasota Herald-Tribune"), it appears that the best they can come up with was that Harris' comments "did not light a much-needed fire". From their lips to God's ear, as usual...
