Just Why Democrats Are 'Dangerous' When It Comes To America's Defense

Thomas Sowell, the distinguished Stanford scholar, wrote on this page a week ago that there's a difference between the major parties: "The Republicans are disappointing and the Democrats are dangerous." We'd like to take this opportunity to elaborate on his second point.

We and our allies are in a serious global war against fanatical, determined Islamic terrorists who have declared war on America and the free world. Their stated objective is to kill all the Americans they can, eliminate Israel, control and enslave women, and in time overpower and rule with an iron fist nations from Spain to the Far East. They intensely hate our freedom and successful way of life.

While Democrats in Congress always assert they "support our troops," their political policies and actions have continually undermined our nation's fight to win the war on terror and defend America. Here is their national security record:

We've also been protected against further terrorist attacks by a strong, competent and determined president.

I do not feel protected when the President refuses to seal our borders, openly encourages an illegal alien invasion, and seems more than willing to throw sovereignty under the bus. Then again, the President almost looks like a savior compared to the Dims.

IMO the DNC is a National Security threat.

We can not listen to terrorist phone calls? We have to give terrorist Constitutional Rights? We are to pull out of Iraq and allow terrorist to take over?

Has anyone seen the Demorats actually offer up a solution to a problem? Or are you like me and you only see a party of NO?

"The evil behind islam is not only behind islam...it is behind humanism and atheism and secularism and the ACLU and Hollywood, etc, etc, etc."

This is such a great statement that it deserves repeating.

If only we could arrest Carter for his crimes against America. He will be held responsible some day for the deaths of millions his failed policies in assisting our enemies will probably lead to.
Thanks, Dems for screwing up our nation and endangering our lives.

This is just great - and demands reprinting:

"Time for conservatives to vote in truly record numbers, to increase Republican control in House and Senate and bury the damned anti-american media whores and their democrat demigods before the bastards get millions of US killed! Oh, the media won't get the point, but when '08 arrives, the Pubbies will have seen what the once silent majority can do when we're really pissed off. Perhaps they will behave differently in the coming months if record numbers of conservatives show their support for our courageous military, protecting them from democrat rule by soundly defeating the anti-military, anti-American, traitorous bastards at the ballot box.

BRAVO! BRAVO!

Were you aware that in AZ they started early voting today - and had a record number turn out to vote.

I sure hope this is a nation-wide indication of what will be a remarkable election.

"As Osama says, we love life and you (the West) love death."

WRONG! You have it backwards. Osama said, "you in the west love life, we love death". He called it a fundamental difference between us.

This is a unique opportunity to bury teh treasonous democrats for at least a decade. They will not be as open in their treasonous behavior in future cycles so now is the time to make them pay, big time!

Look at what has come from Islamic nations. Other than murder and mayhem I can't think of anything positive.

Neither can I, but they did bring the "zero" and so called "Arabic" numerals to Europe. Both ideas were stolen looted from the Hindus when the Muslims conquered them.

TITLE:

Adam Smith, Karl Marx and Arab Totalitarianism in the 21st Century

INTRODUCTION

Passing into the 21st Century, America can lay claim to having reached the zenith of political schizophrenic behavior.

Based on the election results of the 2004 U.S. Presidential Election, slightly more than half of the voters expressed support for Bush’s Foreign Policy during wartime and his “pro-growth” tax cuts while the other half sprinted back into history and embraced the economic theories of Marx and combined those sentiments with the appeasement philosophy towards Nazism.

Luckily, after Hitler’s naked aggression, Churchill’s voice of reason rose above the appeasing socialists, and Nazism and Fascism were defeated. Following the Allied Victory, American Foreign Policy embraced Adam Smith and his disciples Freidrich Hayek and Milton Friedman, and subsequently lifted ½ the earth’s population to a standard of living never before seen in world history, and newly formed G7 Nations drove global prosperity and scientific advancement to equally astonishing success.

However, the victors of WW2 did not apply the lessons gleaned from Hayek’s “Road to Serfdom” to the newly mapped-out Arab World, and now the United States faces an Arab-totalitarian threat that Hayek’s prescient masterpiece predicted would inevitable grow from that socialism-in-the-sand.

Looking back, reasonable critics can forgive the United States and the United Kingdom for not envisioning the Arab threat of today; notwithstanding the development and deployment of the atomic bomb, the “double-game” of Ibn Saud, and the all-Arab Nations attack on Israel in 1948.

Yet the jury of history must return a guilty verdict against the United States and all its Western Europe allies for collective and catastrophic foreign & domestic policy failures, oversights, and self-deception, or “FOSDEP”, since 1979.

THE ISSUES WE FACE AND DON’T SEE

Weaving together United States foreign & domestic policy FOSDEP over the last quarter century, one quickly recognizes that these paradigms have been in a parallel state of co-existence, which no doubt has led directly to the War on Terror, unacceptable economic inequality, and our schizophrenic national behavior.

FOSDEP is the political equivalent of an extinction level event asteroid, since its civilization destroying capability is equally as awesome; and with the FOSDEP paradigms simultaneously exerting pressure on our nations’ psyche, the effects have become paralysis in politics, and fear & cynicism among the people.

Today astronomers peer deep into space and track the trajectory of devastating objects hurtling towards Earth; analogously, polemists and government officials have been “star-gazing” at the FOSDEP paradigms for the last 25 years!

With asteroids, every day, millions of small space rocks will break away and innocuously crash into earth. Conversely, the bombardment of pieces of FOSDEP here and pieces of FOSDEP there have for too long seemed innocuous, or at the very least, correctable through legislation, whether it be Sarbanes-Oxley or tax manipulation.

Yet we now know the painful truth; FOSDEP is harmful and hard to fix.

Most Americans never see a single FOSDEP event; yet they feel its impact everyday, the most dramatic being the September 11th attacks, courtesy of supporting the Afghan rebels against the Soviets in the 1980s; or the more ubiquitous, that being the loss of a job, courtesy of Wall Street’s relentless drive for quarterly profits.

No doubt FOSDEP brings paralysis to the elected, and fear and cynicism to the voters!

The average citizen can’t see it, yet it directly affects their everyday life. More, the general public comprehends the aggregate impact FOSDEP has on our macro economy and military strength; and courtesy of a 24/7 global news cycle, the bit by bit erosion of our nations’ strength is witnessed from an illusionary safe distance, and at increasingly alarming speed.

The basis of “citizenry-schizophrenia” is that we intuitively recognize that the nature and origin of these attacks on our nation are not “foreign”; rather, the enemy is “rooted” structurally into both our economic system, and conflicting foreign policy goals and objectives.

What to do if we are in fact the “enablers” of our own destruction?

NEED FOR ACTION AND CONSEQUENCES OF INERTIA

This statement paper is an alert to the crisis, and an appeal to the Democratic and Republican parties, as well as leading U.S. multinational corporations to address the systemic and structural fissure in our nations’ foundation. Further, I offer a hypothesis that our enemies are aware of our FOSDEP follies and that by not recognizing the internal political and economic damage we are inflicting upon ourselves we play into our enemy’s strategy:

1. Instill fear through Terrorist acts
2. Threaten that more acts will follow
3. Create Political Paralysis
4. Weaken U.S. Economy
5. Weaken U.S. Military

Their Goal: Bring about Socialistic Totalitarian Rule across the Globe.

If there is not an immediate coordinated public/private effort to halt domestic and foreign policy FOSDEP, I posit that within 25 years our economy will fall behind those of China, India, EU, Japan and Russia; wiping out 50 years of unprecedented economic and military supremacy since the overthrow of our embassy in Iran.

The result of this hypothetical occurrence would be terrible for the hope of mankind, since those that currently rely on our military protection and/or financial aid will fall victim to a tsunami of global socialistic totalitarian regimes.

Within the US, should we not halt FOSDEP, we can expect to become like India, or other nations with grotesque gaps in wealth and social status, brought about by the extermination of the unique American phenomenon – the Middle Class.

SUPPORTING DATA

A quick view of the top, middle, and bottom of the U.S. “totem pole” does not paint an encouraging picture; with the top of the totem pole represented by corporate America executive pay, which increased 600% over the last 25 years, compared to the middle of the totem pole, where the average wage earner saw 11% increases over the same period, compared to the bottom of the totem pole, represented by our public school system, which costs $400 billion a year, and produces nothing short of abject results.

More evidence of the U.S. totem pole rotting from the inside can be gleamed from:

1. Irresponsible Statements from Democratic Leadership at a time of war;

• Ted Kennedy claiming that Iraqi citizens are more supportive of the insurgency than our cause to bring stability to their nation;
• Dick Durbin comparing isolated (now prosecuted) abuses at Abu Graib to those of Nazi Germany;
• Harry Reid boasting that “we killed the Patriot Act”..
• Howard Dean advancing conspiracy theories that George W. Bush knew about 9/11 before it happened.

2. Nationally Destructive Racial Demagoguery

• Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton supportive of claims that the Federal Government conspired to blow up the levies in New Orleans so that poor blacks would be killed.

3. Open Political Corruption: SEC non-indictment of FANNIE MAE Chief Executive

• Despite the SEC successfully prosecuting private company CEOs from ENRON, MCI, Adelphi and HealthSouth, the biggest of all scandals was passed over
• Franklin Raines, a political appointment to the CEO post, made off with tens of millions in compensation resulting from FANNIE stock performance that has now been determined (by Congress) to be fraudulent.
• Fannie Mae is subject to Congressional Oversight
• Its bonds carry the highest investment grade ratings due its quasi public/private status
• Along with Jamie Gorelick (yes, the 9/11 commissioner), Raines, conspired to conceal from regulators a “pet lending program” focused toward inner cities home buyers that was outside the lending charter of the company
• As a result, $10.6B in losses were not reported, making this accounting scandal larger than ENRON

AMERICAN SUPREMACY IN THE 21st CENTURY?

The Republicans and “red” America appear to be able to maintain great respect for the values that delivered this country into the 21st Century, arguably, the most powerful and benevolent empire the world has ever seen; despite our turbulent and ugly past.

It appears that Democratic politicians and “left” leaning voters possess a guilty conscious about the path our Nation took to the 21st Century, and thus are uncomfortable with American supremacy; perhaps thinking/feeling that America is not deserving of the vanguard role it plays on the world stage and espousing its values as synonymous with “universal” values

I wonder, how are the past atrocities that America committed in the name of Manifest Destiny, its participation in Slavery, its reluctance to embrace emancipation, its well intentioned, but tragically misguided effort in Vietnam, any more vile than;

• 16th through 19th Century history of the Western European Monarchies
• French and German lack of racial and ethnic diversity in modern times
• China’s long history of human rights abuses
• The oppressive regimes of all Middle Eastern Totalitarian Dynasties
• Czarist, Stalinist, or Putins’ Russia

Is seems by comparison, that at the dawn of the 21st Century, the United States stands alone as a Nation that allows for both the full expression of human freedom while successfully assimilating all races, religions and genders into its society.

Republican politicians and “red” American voters seem to have a profound appreciation of our nation being the only in recorded history to be founded on an “idea”, with its expression finding a sacrosanct home in the Declaration of Independence. I suspect those supportive of Bush’s foreign policy think and feel that this country has lived up to that founding ideal, and therefore can be an example to all nations; in other words, we have become, that “City on a Hill”

The politicians and voters on the “left” appear to be mired in seeing what’s wrong with America, more than seeing what’s right, and thus find themselves turning away from joining the fight to win the global WOT; there also appears to be an all consuming “2000 Election” temper tantrum that manifests in sophomoric demagogic exhortations geared toward reclaiming the White House.

I wish these shenanigans could fall innocently into the historical bin of political self flagellation and rabid partisanship. The vituperative journalism of 1789 demonstrates that political nastiness is indigenous to our Republic; the stakes were high; so thus too was the rhetoric; however, in that era, the cycle of war amongst Nations was quite regular, and despite the horror of those wars, none of the great military powers faced extinction as a result of their never ending declarations of war.

Today, we face a starkly different paradigm.

“Toto…we’re not in Kansas anymore” could be the literary equivalent of the global economy and weapons capability of the 18th Century compared to the petrodollars that fund global terrorism in the 21st Century, and the nexus between terrorists’ interest in obtaining WMD, and their financial interlocutors.

THE DEMOCRATS ARE PLAYING A DANGEROUS GAME

The relentless (and intellectually dishonest) Bush-43 bashing can arguably be said to have led to the “market-acceptability” of a film released to “Western” audiences depicting a sitting President’s assassination!

This atavistic brand of populist politics has proven dangerous throughout history and should not be tolerated as acceptable political discourse within a free society. More, talk of impeaching Bush serves no purpose other than to incite the violent lunatic fringe comprised of neo-Nazis and other white-supremacist groups that currently dot the landscape of our Nations interior. It should be evident to sober observers that these home-grown fringe groups are actively seeking to assist Al Qaeda.

Citizens of today should recall the Russian and French Revolutions which unleashed demons into the uneducated and economically stressed proletariat of those times. The Bolsheviks butchered Nicholas II along with his family and the Jacobins turned on Brissot and Robespierre. Is it not then suggestive that prominent political leaders of the Democratic Party are in danger when recent history can point to Timothy McVeigh proudly wearing a T-Shirt quoting Thomas Jefferson’s irresponsible support for the French Revolution?

The white supremacist fringe in this country hates our government as much as Al Qaeda does and is delusional, yet is deadly serious in their declaration of war against our government and its institutions. Thus it is incumbent on leaders in the Democratic Party to employ caution with their rhetoric so as to not provide propaganda tools for the recruitment of disenfranchised and uneducated “vulnerable” young American men. The unequivocal mantra expressed ad-nauseam that “Bush lied” as part of plan to send American soldiers to die in Iraq plays into the delusions of these home-grown lunatic fringe groups, and puts all of us at risk.

I suggest that in addition to watching the Bush assassination film, and the nascent rise of the white supremacist movement, Howard Dean, John Kerry, Ted Kennedy and Hilary watch their backs if their misguided effort to turn back U.S. supremacy succeeds!

WELL RESEARCHED HISTORY CAN ILLUMINATE TODAY’S DARKNESS

When the Democrats and left-leaning voters clamor for support from other nations in fighting the War against Terror, I wonder what planet they are living on!

Russia and China share an economic and social philosophy with the Totalitarian Arab world, and to expect assistance from either in our fight against the militant strain of Islam is to reject the lessons of history.

Our Founding Fathers successfully outwitted French treachery at every turn in their attempts to reclaim New France during and after the Revolutionary War, because they understood French “interests”. Thus it was by the very birth of our Nation that we learned the lesson of not trusting any nation beyond its “interests”, and Washington made this point in his farewell address:

“Tis folly in one nation to look for disinterested favors from another…There can be no greater error than to expect or calculate real favors from nation to nation”

Present day, our political and business leaders must recognize that we are engaged in a costly two front war, and that our “interests” are in conflict with those of Russia, China, France and Iran, and that there are connecting interests amongst those state actors.

The primary war for the United States is the War on Terror.

As the leading economy in the world, we are forced to wage it alone, now that Tony Blair has gone the way of Churchill and Thatcher. Russia and China have an “interest” in draining our treasury so they can strengthen their state-run economies against our free-market global dominance.

The secondary war for the United States has a kinship to its primary war.

Assume for a moment that 2006 were a pre-9/11 world. Under that paradigm, the U.S would nevertheless find itself in a global economic and cultural battle with a surging China economy, and the re-emergence of the Soviet Union. Perhaps this seems terribly unfair, but both of these nations are actively supporting our enemy in the U.S. primary war, which directly assists them winning the U.S. secondary war, which is of course, primary to their “interests”

The Cold War was focused on defeating communism, and for a brief 12 years, (1989 – 2001) it appeared that we had… but at what cost?

It is tragically apparent that the embers of communism were still burning in parts of the old Soviet empire, and they have now been stoked by the flames of China’s military and economic emergence.

Yes, the Russians fought the Afghans for nine (9) years and lost approximately 77,000 men, many who were beheaded. Simultaneously they were humiliated by Ronald Reagan’s economic military build up, which drove them to bankruptcy. Yes, the Afghans the Russians were fighting were the religious brethren of the Khomeini revolutionaries, who were at the time, against the U.S.!

Confused?

Now, a picture of global “interests” emerges.

China, Russia, and Iran all have a shared “interest” in hurting the U.S; for China and Russia it is economic and cultural, and for Iran, it is romantic nihilism and settling the Shia/Sunni conflict. (I’ll leave North Korea aside, only to say that China will cover our backs since it is in their “interests” to do so.)

For sure, Russia and China don’t want to live in a world dominated by radical Islamic Fundamentalists, and they never will.

These nations are older than the United States, and actually quite savvy. I sadly and sincerely believe that they welcome radicalized militant Muslims attacking U.S. interests because our “hard & soft” responses weaken our economy and stature in the world by having our treasury (not theirs) fund the War on Terror; and by having our State Department personnel perform “kabuki” dances at the United Nations; while world leaders sit and silently chuckle at the idealistic effort of
the U.S. to defeat global terror. Moreover; Russia and China domestic propaganda machinery benefits from the populist uprisings within our country. All combined, these factors assist their goals of limiting U.S. economic and military primacy in the world.

Should we fall from super power status and find ourselves unable to maintain the fight against global jihad, I am cynically sure that China and Russia will be ready, willing, and able to deal with Islamic Militants in a way that we have yet to, or may never consider!

What should be our response be to a WMD attack on our soil, while remaining the world's sole superpower?

It is probable we will save ourselves (and our “friends”) by ridding the world of Militant Islam via targeted nuclear strikes; either way, Russia, China and France accomplish their primary goal, which is the weakening of the economic and cultural power of the west; Iran will quickly and painfully learn the lesson of their “Faustian Bargain” made with China and Russia post September 11, 2001.

PREDICTIONS

The nightmare scenario of a WMD attack on our soil is highly probably, since certain elements within the Iranian and Al-Qaeda militant ranks can easily break away from the macro-Faustian bargain with China, Russia and France; which I just posited, is to have the U.S. destroy itself from within through its domestic and foreign policy FOSDEP follies.

These youthful, uneducated, and undisciplined elements will most likely loose patience with the slow pace of the U.S decline, become trigger happy, and launch WMD attacks against our major cities.

Should this tragedy occur, I have no doubt that we will miraculously find assistance from our Russian, Chinese and French “friends” that will implicate Iran. Within 72 hours, that state will no longer exist; Syria will become a eunuch without its protector; Pakistan will fall in line and finally capture UBL and stamp out Al-Qaeda; and the lasting value of such a horrible scenario will be the Saudi Royal family will reform, and modernize the Madrasas currently preaching Wahhabism.

PSYCHOLOGY BEHIND THE FIGHT

One must appreciate that in two world wars, 75 million lives were lost, and the fact that Western Europe lost 37.5 million civilians in WW2 is too quickly forgotten (or not known) by Americans who lash out at France and Germany for being weak-kneed when it comes to fighting the WOT;

Americans need to understand that Western Europe nations (other than the U.K.) do not possess the emotional and/or economic strength to fight a global war against Islamic Jihad; in addition, Western Europe nations have the added burden of significant portions of their population represented by young, non assimilated Muslim youth that are prone to militant radicalization.

For the Middle East, the problem is more complex. The general populations of Iraq and their surrounding neighbors have lived under totalitarian rule for many years. The consequence of life under oppression is that society breaks down into three distinct categories:

• Supporters of tyrants
• Dissidents and Reformers
• Double-Thinkers

In Iraq, the Sunni population fell under the first category, while the Shia, who fell under the second were either jailed or killed. Now that the old regime is gone, the general population is made up of double-thinkers comprised of both Shia and Sunni – and these folks have cognitive dissidence regarding America’s role in Iraq.

They know in their hearts and minds that the American effort, if successful, will improve their lives, but while its underway, the physical danger they face when openly supporting the effort manifests in their silence. Their silence will move to whispered assistance to the authorities when they are “reasonably” assured that the Unity Government of Iraq will prevail.

The new Iraqi Government has been in power for less than one year, and that is not sufficient time for the double-thinkers to step up and begin to whisper their support.

Double-Thinkers should come to the side of the Unity Government provided insurgent infiltrators are aggressively rooted out of the police force, militias are disbanded, Sadr is arrested; and all the while, the U.S. must continue to prove through its actions that we are long-term partners in bringing security and economic stability to Iraq.

IMPROVING OUR CHANCES OF SUCCESS

America would better serve its interests, and more quickly convert the international community to our fan base, if we would emulate the “Michael Jordon” winning attitude of “just give me the ball” when considering its global military responsibilities.

It seems to me that since we are the superstar on the world stage, it is incumbent upon OUR NATION, (not just Republicans), to take the world on our back and lead the way to defeating global terrorism without whining about doing it alone or making fun of those players on the world stage that are not as strong as we are. (However, we can make fun of Democratic Americans that don’t realize they are on the winning team!)

America should seek no accolades.

To reprise another sports analogy, when Derek Jeter wins a World Series, he is not interested in personal statistics; just winning the ring…thus defeating the world of the terrorist WMD threat is sufficiently analogous to winning a championship without crowing about U.S. “statistical” supremacy.

All these expressions are the dark colors of the kaleidoscope that lead to the dearth of sympathy for the richest nation on earth form the international community;

Yet, perhaps the ugliest turn of the kaleidoscope can be seen by our unapologetic beaming of celebrity-obsessed pop culture across the internet; the most recent example of which saw Paris Hilton’s boyfriend, Brandon Davis, an heir to a billion dollars, describing Lindsey Lohan as “poor” because she only has a $7MM dollar net worth!

Kenneth Osgood timely publication of “Total Cold War” offers us a reminder that military power is not enough, and we need to win the “propaganda” war in order to achieve our victory in the War on Terror. Consider this quote from the President’s Committee on Information Activities Abroad (May 9, 1960).

“The Untied States Government…is not the sole, or perhaps even the most important factor in the projection of the American image…Americans traveling or living abroad contribute heavily to the process of foreign image making”

During WW2, Oscar winning actors and musicians supported the war, enlisted, and in no small part assisted America in feeling good about its role in the world. Today, our efforts to win hearts and minds of those abroad are severely hampered by rabid anti-Americanism emanating from Hollywood.

For anyone who cares to look, it is clear that the administration is fighting this war on many fronts beyond Iraq, and two small examples that we are employing non-military assets to the task can be found in our significant financial commitment to beam satellite TV news into the Arab world to compete with Al Jazzera to the establishment of the Iraqi Virtual Science Library. There are dozens of other non-military activities being pursued, within Iraq and throughout the entire Muslim world; but tragically, our Nations most powerful asset is not available to this Administration.

Our country’s #1 financial export is our “entertainment” industry (movies and music), and that means that our most powerful assets are our celebrities.

It is critical to winning the WOT that our celebrities learn the facts and use their powerful voices to help America win this civilization threatening war; or they will sadly no longer enjoy Oscar night or the MTV music awards.

Consider this “gem” of a quote from Rosie O’Donnell, and following in the box, the thought provoking response from Arnold Ahlert (NY Post 9/18/2006):

Rosie O'Donnell on "The View" last week

"Radical Christianity is as threatening as radical Islam"

Arnold Ahlert’s response:
“ROSIE O'Donnell is a rich, self-proclaimed lesbian celebrity, who has been able to adopt four children in far less time than the usual rigmarole ordinary mortals undergo.
Since she apparently believes radical Islam and radical Christianity are equivalent, perhaps we could imagine what kind of life she would be living in a country where radical Muslims, rather than "radical Christians," hold sway.
Rich? Unlikely, since women are second-class citizens in such radical Muslim countries.
Self-proclaimed lesbian? At best, a social pariah.
Celebrity status? Certainly - in the sense that O.J. Simpson is a celebrity.
Gay adoption? Virtually unthinkable, much less doable.
Making a statement critical of Islam? A fatwa issued demanding her death.
On the plus side, forced to wear a head-to-toe burka. Praise Allah for that”.

EPILOGUE: IRAN AND NORTH KOREA

The standard talking point from Democratic Presidential 2008 hopefuls, and those opposed to this administrations foreign policy with regard to Iran and North Korea is that the U.S. has made the world a more dangerous place by our action in Iraq and our unwillingness to engage in direct talks with Iran and North Korea…have these political leaders and voters never attended elementary school?

Let’s have some fun with this claim, and close out this paper.

Analogous Definitions

• Iran & North Korea = Elementary school children
• EU & Russia = Mom and Dad
• United Nations = Grandparents
• IAEA = Older siblings of Iran and North Korea
• United States = School Principal

PARODY: “The long sordid tale of Iran and North Korea”

• During the 8 years of the Clinton Administration, and for the first several months of the Bush Administration, the United States had been in direct and multilateral dialogue with Iran and North Korea, or in other words, they had called them into the principals office after they misbehaved and asked them nicely to cooperate in class, and be better world citizens.

• The unruly school children did not listen and the principal did not expel them from school, or even give them detention

• To the contrary, the students were given toys (nuclear reactors) and financial aid.

• Then there was a big fight in one of the older grades, and it was a very serious fight where lots of innocent students were hurt, and 3000 kids were killed (9/11 attack on this country)

• The United States, as principal of the school, saw that Iran and N. Korea were beginning to take advantage of the disorder, and because of their immaturity, started to intimidate the other students in the school by suggesting that they were also going to start a very big fight.

• The other students in the class (the free nations of this earth) became uneasy and scared

• The United States (the Principal) called the parents of Iran and North Korea (EU and Russia) to seek their assistance in controlling their children

• This had no effect

• The parents (EU and Russia) really don’t like the school principal (U.S.) in the first place, and think that complaints about their children are overstated in the second place.

• This is understandable since these are absentee parents and they are not really watching what their kids are doing

• Worse, the parents (EU and Russia) despise the control that the principal (U.S.) has over the school, and would be pleased to see their kids (Iran and North Korea) destroy it (laissez-faire capitalism)

• The kids kept on disturbing class, mostly in the form of threatening to wipe Israel off the map, and launching missiles toward Japan

• Since parental intervention did not help – the principal called in the grandparents (United Nations) of these unruly and very dangerous brats

• Although physically less intimidating than the parents, the hope of the principal was that the unruly children would have more respect for their grandparents than they showed to their parents

• The principal was aware that the grandparents (United Nations) had lavished these unruly brats with special treats over many years, and the hope was that in appreciation the kids would begin to behave pursuant to the grandparent’s request.

• The principal (U.S.) knew about the gift giving of the grandparents (United Nations) to the school kids (Iran and North Korea) because the principal, since the kids were attending their school, contributed 25% of the cost of the gifts. (see U.S. financial support for the United Nations)

• The grandkids (Iran and North Korea) laughed wildly at the notion that their grandparents would have more influence on them than their own parents

• The kids reasoned that if their own parents (EU and Russia) were not going to punish them certainly Grandma and Grandpa (United Nations) were not capable of doing anything!

• The principals had one last idea

• The older siblings (IAEA) of the nasty unruly school kids (Iran and North Korea) were called upon to see if they could put a halt to the disruptive behavior

• The main cause of the problem was that these unruly kids had found WMD toys in their parents closet

• The principal knew that the older siblings (IAEA) had a detailed understanding of the WMD toys

• The older siblings tried to explain to their unruly younger siblings (Iran and N. Korea) that these toys were very dangerous

• The older siblings went on to say that only responsible parents (EU and Russia), and the school principal (United States) could be in possession of these toys.

• The unruly kids (Iran and North Korea) thought that was hilarious and felt that because their parents and the principal had these toys, they could play with them too

• The bratty school kids did not believe, or accept, the warnings of the their older siblings (the IAEA)

• The older siblings were quickly blown off by their younger sibling brats and the principal was left scratching his head?

BACK TO REAL LIFE

• Democrats think that we should continue to talk with these kids.

• Republicans think the time has come to EXPEL them from school and take away their WMD toys.

Who do you agree with?

• Perhaps there is one last chance at a resolution and that would be to have a parent/principal conference with the kids in attendance

• I trust that this will occur before the principal expels these kids by force; but I doubt the kids will comply with one last request to behave

• The fact is they are instigating the principal into a fight since they now have the same toys and they think they can rule the school ground!
