The stupidity of the Massachusetts school decision to 'outlaw' such children's games as "tag" at school has hit the news in Japan.
(VIDEO REPORT ON TONIGHT'S NEWS IN JAPAN)
There is a slight tone of incredulousness.

Puzzled parents interviewed, too. The clip will be up for a few more hours...
Just call it "Catch the capitalist pig who has stolen the means of production" and it will be the state sport.
i don't know, blessfully-luckily I do not live there, and have only been through the state..
Robot means "worker
Well, then I used the wrong word, because the last thing on earth the Government Indoctrination System wishes to produce is 'workers'! How about 'contemplators'.
"Source? Are is this your opinion on why the game tag was banned on school grounds?"
Go see for yourself:

Unlike us, they still believe in compitition....the fact that in games, as in life, there are winners and losers.
Since you used google instead of providing a source, it is safe to assume you have no source for your statement. Banning tag is idiotic, but the stated reason behind the ban is "safety" not because "Competitve games are viewed as 'bad'".
You asserted that tag was banned at this school because "competative games were bad" in responce to a posters honest inquiry. According to the school it was banned because of the fear of injuries and potential lawsuits. Your response was just dishonest. Banning tag is idiotic, but how can we have an intellegent discussion on the merits of the case when we cann't even present the facts accurately or honestly?
"Your response was just dishonest."
My reply was an honest assessment. To the excessively literal, who take representatives of the educational establishment at their word, without question, perhaps this is offensive somehow. However, there is a track record going on thirty years of viewing competition as "bad," so this is at the root of the issue, all deflection aside.
Yeah?
