"This incident meets the legal definition of a hate crime," said Aliya Latif, a member of the Association of Muslim American Lawyers.
FU. Probably perpetrated by a member of a "peace loving" religion.

This has to stop. It could do serious damage to the plumbing, maybe even cause a flood and wreck the plaster on the next floor down.

Yeah, well, that's exactly where it belongs.
I'm sure Aliya Latif would be deeply saddened to know that for the past four years, each September 11th, I've ripped the cover off a koran and burned the pages. Then I cut the cover into the shape of shoe inserts and walk around on them all day. I only do that for one day, because I don't like to have such evil so close to me.

A koran in a toilet is a hate crime? Then what is a crucifix in a bottle of urine? A painting of the Virgin Mary smeared with elephant dung? Oh that's right - that's art! Thin-skinned muzzies need to shut up.
P.S. The Manhattan campus of Pace is less than a mile from Ground Zero. Surprised there aren't any muslims stuffed in the toilet along with their 'holy' book!

If a koran in the crapper is a hate crime, what do you call 3000 dead and billions of dollars in property damage? "I just gotta be me"?

Ah. You can't help but love muslim extremism even when they whine. Putting koran in toilet where no one is around is not the same as going onto someone's property and burning a cross or scrawling a swastika on the locker of someone you know to be jewish.

Indeed, this is no different from placing a burning cross in front of a house or painting a swastika on a locker.I have to disagree here, since you're not, as far as we know, damaging someone else's property...Except for the toilet perhaps, and that would only occur if a flush were attempted.

How exactly is any of this a crime? Ah well, the libs who were telling us all to chill out over Andres Serrano and piss Christ are now willing to walk on eggshells about Koran brand TP. Once upon a time America understood the concept of "F'em if they can't take a joke". The sooner the "hate crimes" laws go off the books the better.

I just watched United 93. Those passengers had guts and like someone said, they were the first "soldiers" in this WOT. Watching how they depicted those Islamofascists, how they celebrated the hits on the WTC, how they killed the pilot, co-pilot, that passenger and flight attendant made me absolutely disgusted.
I have NO sympathy for Islam. They can call Christians and Jews pigs, apes and this nation is the "Great Satan" but they want to kill anyone who speak against their bloodthirsty "religion"? We shouldn't trust any of them.

I'm continually amazed that the only place a Koran ever ends up in a toilet is where there is a Muslim activist group around to make political hay of it.
Anyone have that image of the Vichy Inspector from Casablanca?

"Indeed, this is no different from placing a burning cross in front of a house or painting a swastika on a locker." Then they would have to agree that when Saudi Arabia confiscates all bibles on people heading into that nation and burns them they are also committing a hate crime?
