PAPER PUBLISHES WRONG PHOTO OF ALLEGED FOLEY SEX CLERGY

Editors at the SARASOTA HERALD-TRIBUNE on Friday issued a correction over a photo that ran with their exclusive Foley sex story.
"The HERALD-TRIBUNE published the wrong photo with its story identifying the priest who may have sexually abused former Rep. Mark Foley," the paper said.
"The photo was not of Anthony Mercieca, the Malta priest who Foley's lawyer says abused Foley."
The correction was issued after the photo aired worldwide on TV and on the web. [CNN: 'You are looking at the preist who...']
The HERALD-TRIBUNE says it took the photo from a section about Mercieca on the Gozo Cathedral Public Library web site. The AP in Malta reports the man in the photo was a librarian.

That's because of all the "It's not my fault, it's the fault of _______________" and you fill in the blank.
Seriously, 100 years ago, a guy steals a horse or rapes a woman. He tells the judge (if he makes it that far without hanging) "I had a bad childhood judge".
Judge would respond, "Well, I will put you out of your misery. Guilty, Hang'em"
I do believe that would be the last time that defense would be used.

Oh, I clicked on this as I thought it said Sex Orgy in the title. TO my dismay it was just more news about Foley's sex life with an OOPS. Poor guy that ended up wrongly in the picture and by the way what is up with all this naked sauna taking and little boys. EWWWW. Disturbance in my sense of things. A priest naked in a sauna with a young boy. I never read about Jesus doing saunas. That should have been his first clue right there. /sarc.

Let's see... Today is October 20th. That means that we will be seeing Foley stories in the MSM for another eighteen days or so, after which they will be replaced by stories about how Republicans suppressed the black/hispanic/female/glbt vote in order to remain in power in Washington...
