U.S. tracking N. Korean ship with banned military equipment: CBS News

U.S. intelligence has detected the departure from a North Korean port of a North Korean ship suspected of carrying military equipment banned under a U.N. sanctions resolution against Pyongyang's Oct. 9 nuclear test, CBS News reported Thursday.
The United States is tracking the ship, CBS said, noting that it remains uncertain exactly what the ship is carrying and where it is headed.

Looney Tunes has already said he'd consider that an act of war. Are we ready to see him try to flatten Seoul, nuke Tokyo, Honolulu and Seattle? If so, board and search. I'm with 'ya. If not, stall. Considering the SKs are hoping that they'll get Krazy Kim the Younger's arsenal intact (presumably so they can nuke Tokyo), I'm down with a flattened Seoul. I doubt, however, that NK's nukes can make it to Tokyo.

The Chinese have already essentially reneged on the resolution by announcing they will not enforce it. The South Koreans are refusing to cut their economic ties with the North, ensuring that Kim Jong Il will not run out of money anytime soon. I'd say it's a safe bet that the Russians are also looking at ways they can get around the resolution as well.
Believe me, if we do anything to this ship, we will once again be doing it alone, while the rest of the world, the media and the left will accuse us of "provoking" North Korea.

"This is a resolution we have to implement," Chinese UN Ambassador Wang Guangya told reporters earlier.
"The question was raised whether China will do inspections. Inspections yes, but inspection is different then interdiction and interception. I think different countries will do it different ways," Wang said.
