Fox, CNBC and even Headline News were reporting on DOW 12,000 at market close. CNN was reporting on Mark Foley.
Cavuto even gave a bit of trivia. Seems that today is the 19th anniversary of Black Monday. On October 19, 1987 the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost almost 22% in a single day. 19 years later we have gained 6 fold to close over 12,000.
Too bad the economy sucks.
Oh, and Foley is still a pervert per CNN

Bush called all the investors in the nation and fund managers and told them to push the dow higher. he also told all corporations that might report worse than expected earnings, to hold off till after the election. that's the only reason. sarc/

Look how happy the AP is!
"NEW YORK (AP) -- The Dow Jones industrial average scored its first close above 12,000 Thursday as Wall Street managed to hold on to gains despite concerns about the strength of the economy."
It must the concerns of DUmboRats! They're concerned that the strength of the economy may hurt their chances in the election, I'll bet!
