Name one point mentioned in this sentence that wasn't a part of the 1986 Amnesty.

Can't. The only thing that's different is the size of the guest worker program.

Have you ever even ONCE put the blame for the party division where it belongs? Or do you just blame everyone BUT Bush?

Let us see if I have this right.

We legalize all the illegals in the nation at this time over a period of five years. Then we allow millions more to enter our nation under a guest worker program.

Thank heaven that fence is going up...

The only thing this plan lacks is a deed to a home and a $100,000.00 bank account.

"It shows how powerful the anti-illegal movement has become. Now the pro-illegal forces are attempting to save what they can."

They certainly are. And I can honestly say that it is a pleasure to know that those who have slammed Tancredo, over and over again, are now forced to encourage votes for him.

"An endorsement from the left-wing Denver Post. I did not see that coming."

If they're like the L.A. times there's a simple formula:

Endorse all incumbent Democrats running for reelection.
Endorse Democrats in all open-seat elections.
Endorse some incumbent Republicans who have no chance of losing to appear "balanced" and "open minded."

Coming from you that's hilarious. You blame everything on President Bush.

"Tancredo's polarizing persona"

People who talk like this #1, haven't read the Bible or, #2, don't believe it.

It's all about what's being called "polarization". Separation of the righteous from the wicked.

Man keeps trying to homogenize everybody into one insipid mass. God has been separating the sheep from the goats for a long time, finishing the job in Revelation.

Love your dictionary of Leftist Euphemisms:

Let's review a few definitions from the socialist/leftist play book.

a leading role : getting behind our plan

comprehensive solution : collapse on principle

kick and scream : telling the truth (in opposition to leftist dogma) at any volume, while sitting or standing

polarizing : any argument that advances the idea that our nation's laws should be upheld, or that there actually is a moral right and wrong

pragmatic : accepting our point of view

relentless : unreasonable, unwilling to compromise, unwilling to accept criminality, unwilling to support the DNC

respectable alternative : term used to describe our candidates in order to infer their candidates are not respectable

sensible resolution : one that sees our views implemented concerning all points

single item agenda : support for any single issue (by itself or among many) we can't win on the merits, and must demagogue

twelve million reasons : 17.2 million votes

Ive read articles like this countless times. They always start with a claim of being against illegal immigration, continue with a call for a "middle ground" compromise, and end with defining that compromise as McCain-Kennedy. Its pretty transparent. Oh and putting an illegal on a "path to citizenship" even a rigorous it is claimed to be is a reward of the greatest worth. For most of the human race it is next to impossible to get on the path to American citizenship.

"The Senate and President Bush have fashioned comprehensive immigration reform that includes border security, employer sanctions, a guest-worker program and an eventual path to citizenship."

Seems like all this was contained in the last 'comprehensive reform' of immigration laws. How about we actually enforce the law as passed before we 'comprehensively reform' it?

Just ignore the Bushbots. Any disagreement with their golden cow sends them into a mindless rage against all things conservative. Any disagreement with Bush makes you a "DUer Bushbasher." It's not worst even responding to them. I mean, I stopped about a week ago.

"So. Now Rove is behind Tancredo???????"

No. He coopted the liberals, as this editorial shows.

There are many who believe that Rove's reputed "genius" is mostly the result of victories against empty-minded, nasty Democratic losers, always choosing the wrong issue like foreign policy. He's smiling now because Republicans have been pretty successful in absentee ballot efforts. All the Democrats got is trying to stampede the public into believing they're going to win.

As for immigration, that was genius. He understood the white liberal mindset very well. He, Bolten, Norquist, whomever, set up the false dilemma of "comprehensive" immigration reform. Rove "tipped" reporters that "conservative republicans house members" were going to be the problem. Twice, and all told because the reporters like to brag about their access. Then Rove had Bush go out and make speeches using code words to demonize conservatives who opposed his America-busting immigration plans. The Dems and MSM fell for it hook, line and sinker. Even Howard Dean jumped on the boat, giddy with the chance to define himself as sensitive and against conservatives. To this day they cast snooty remarks about those who call the Senate plan an "amnesty" even though Bush/Rove have relented and used the A word, "that word" that troubles Rove so, because he knows Bush lied.

It almost worked the stampeding except for Jeff Sessions and a few others casting light on the Bush agenda.

I don't support what Rove did and I know he's probably doing it for a backend bribe via a consulting gig after 2008 but I still admire the psychological mastery of the Dem mind.

"October 20, the guy is a genius. November 8, the guy is ?????"

Demonized by the Democrat wonk types and blogs for being a "genius" with his sneaky, un-wonkish strategy of making sure Republican voters get absentee ballot applications.

Well, I'm a BushBot and the only one of these I'm sad about is Chis Cannon, a House Manager and 100% ACU conservative.

Depends. People who trash the president or the GOP or us "bushbots" with their every post are not helping matters. It gets old.

I think the worst flamers are those who come in here to trash the president and the "bushbots" every day, every thread and every post. I see it as trolling. Trolls are people who come into a forum to trash the place. Doesn't matter to me if they think they are high and mighty "true" conservatives or not. A troll is a troll is a troll. I also see what some of our so-called "true" conservatives post on their antifreeper sites. Yeah, well maybe I give some of our people a little leeway. I know what it's like to be on the receiving end of spiteful more patriotic than thou "true" conservatives. Some of the nastiest trolls have already been ejected and I'm sure others will follow. When people get to the point that they hate us, hate FR, and hate what we are trying to accomplish here, maybe they should just leave and join a site where their views are better appreciated. Why hang around to make themselves and everyone else miserable?

Proud to be a Bushbot.
