We have a 1998 Taurus, and it's been one headache after another, ESPECIALLY the transmission. Everything on it is expensive to fix, and I will be very surprised if it ends up getting 110k miles on it. F(ix) O(r) R(epair) D(aily).

Good riddance!

One of a trilogy of classic jokes:

Fix Or Repair Daily
Found On Roadside Dead
F***ed Over Rebuilt Dodge

None of those are as funny as this one, from Italy:

Fix It Again Tony

I bought a used (Avis) 1992 Taurus and drove it for 140,000 miles until the transmission died. I could never get the brakes to work right-- 200 miles after having the discs turned, the "pulsing" would come back into the brake pedal (warped discs?).

Swore I'd never buy another Ford product.
