"I am from the South so I can't quite figure this out. This paper seems to print what those voters in MA want to hear, based on the people they have put in office. So why is the paper not doing well? Or does the paper have to rely on right wing readers too?"

Even in Gay maggot infested Boston which has re elected Killer Kennedy and the Gay Predator Barney Frank for decades, there are about 30% of the voters/readers who voted for GW.

The Globus Hystericas has turned off that potential market.

Last but not least, they don't understand the reality of my tagline.

I live in a heavily Democrat/liberal region, and even though we have both a liberal paper and a conservative paper, the liberal paper still has considerable circulation among even more conservative readers, including yours truly. I know the paper is flamingly liberal, but it does have a few redeeming qualities over the conservative paper to make it more appealing. That is the key. There is nothing wrong with having a paper with a liberal point of view, as long as you don't turn off everyone, including your core constituency -- the liberals -- and have something to attract even conservatives. That apparently is what the Times, the Globe and others have done. Looks like even the moonbats don't always like them.
