Yeah but aren't they mostly just RINOs? That's what I would expect there. I'm honestly surprised Santorum EVER got elected as conservative as he is overall. I feel bad for the many solid conservatives in PA that have to tolerate all the gutless wonders that claim to be Republicans. Especially since PA only went for Kerry by about 5% I think, or close to 10%, I can't remember but it was MUCH closer then it was supposed to be. Sadly, all of the original States of the United States are souless hollowed out shells that do not represent the Constitution at all. It's really sad. The original 13 Colony States are now the antithesis of what they stood for 230 years ago.

The political climate in PA is a little different from that of other Northeastern States. The Philadelphia area is probably just as liberal as urban NY and New England, but there's the vast (though sparsely populated) conservative middle and the greater Pittsburgh area, where I live, which is socially conservative but also dominated by hard-core Union types, old-style democrats who haven't yet realized what their party has become.
