The guy is a scientific moron. In the next fifty years we will be manipulating the human genome. It won't be evolution, it (hopefully)will be intelligent design. After reliable ID for a thousand years the question will be what has transhumanism brought us?

These are the people that have been studying the issues of human evolution through intelligent design for years. Sound like this prof just read Time Machine and ripped it off.

Its already happening on a small scale. The single mothers many of whom are addicts, are breeding a generation of kids with many physical and emotional problems (e.g.fetal alcohol syndrome). These kids are already filling our urban schools. Few of these kids finish school and many will end up living in a hip hop under culture that will breed another generation little different from themselves.

This is not solely an urban phenomenon and even in rural America the pervasive drug use and high illegitimate birth rate among young females is producing the same problem generation though in lower numbers compared to the population.

One need only visit a typical public school to see the beginnings of this eventual sub species.

Skin-color homogeneity will not happen. One constant across all cultures is selective breeding among the elites for light color. If a darker usurper gains control of a tribe or nation he and his family then choose lighter skinned spouses for for their children. It was always thus and will not change just because Ms. Wearetheworld is dreaming of an even coffee colored population. That same dreamer will probably prefer lighter spouses for her own children.

I am talking about elites. Rich people. Powerful people. Look at Cuba. Socially prominent people prefer lighter spouses for their children. It is so in Uganda. It is so in Sweden. In societies with ruling classes, the rulers are lighter than the ruled. This does not prertain to the lower classes who have not the resources to make such distinctions. In any society in which marriage is still a family function and matches are made by family negotiation lighter skinned prospects fetch higher prices. It seems to be a natural tendency if not quite a natural law.
