Our family is not always welcomed places do to being WC bound and our pleasure is to never do business again with whom ever.
I would like to see more folks who feel discrimaneted against take the high road and just not do business with whom ever they felt did not want to provide a service.
It's a big world and if enough folks don't patronize a place due to issues the place goes out of business. No court/attorney fees no gazzillion hours in a court and making your own life miserable so much more simple to walk away and say not going there again.

According to the story you just sat there for an hour--half hour--whatever and said or did nothing to inquire why you hadnt been served, Then you called for the manager, who did his best to soothe you but by then you had gone into the Muvva complex. The black picked on paranoid schism where nothing but a white man hanging from the rafters would have soothed you.
Now you want to sue. I hope you get nothing. If you go to a Restaurant and you dont like the service get up and walk out. I have done it dozens of times. Blacks arent the only people who get bad service.
Personally I stop at cracker Barrel a lot and have seen many blacks there eating, They came for the food. Not for the potential law suit. If you need money ask Chris, and get him to buy you a watch.

Mrs. Rock and her daughter will need to have timed everyone else's wait from their particular server; otherwise, thirty minutes isn't all that unusual for Cracker Barrel. That's what the little wooden peg solitaire game is for.
A free meal for a long wait is a fair deal. I've gotten free milk shakes and cokes from long waits at McDonald's and Chick-Fil-A. I wonder how they knew I was the color they didn't like?

I went to a restaurant once where the waitress practically ignored us. I understood it was busy, but she had plenty of time to give good service to the police officers two tables away. The busser helped us more than she did. My husband even gave the busser the tip the waitress would have gotten. The rub was we were talking about the lousy service when I said, "We'd probably get better service if we were police officers." The waitress was right behind me when I said it and suddenly tried to jump into action. But, it was too late. Sometimes lousy service is just an act of lousy service.
She needs to sit down and shut up. I got the same level of service last time I was in a Cracker Barrel, too. Does that mean they are discriminating against white men, too?

We went to ChiChi's in Roanoke a number of years ago & were seated for over 20 minutes when we asked for a waitress after seeing others that came after us getting served. After finally getting the attention of a waitress we were told ours would be with us soon. After another 20 or so minutes with no waitress we left and complained to the front desk. They asked where we were sitting and we told them. They commented to each other & marked on the seating chart that waitress so & so's table was now open. We never returned.
If she had been sitting with her son Chris, after 15 minutes he probably would've yelled out, "Ain't any of you crackers gonna serve this black family??!!"
This looks like bad service, which is probably an entrenched bugaboo with the restaurant chain, rather than

Maybe their bad service had more to do with who they were related to than their color. I've complained about bad service a plenty and never got it posted on Free Republic.
Funny thing is that Cracker Barrell also alienated the Sons of Confederate Veterans at some point. They might want to start courting illegal mexicans or the taliban or something, now that they've alienated southerners, blacks and southern blacks. What other demographic is left. Yankees, maybe?
