(Available online here.)
John Murtha is a seventeenth-term member of Congress, representing the 12th district of Pennsylvania. His ethics issues stem from abuse of his position as Ranking Member of Defense Appropriations Subcommittee of the House Appropriations Committee to benefit clients of his brother, Robert "Kit" Murtha, a registered lobbyist....

Need we guess why ABC, NBC and CBS nightly news are not reporting this?

With this and the Abscam issue coming fully to light after the release of the FBI tape, one would think that Democrats would have called for his resignation.
Surely?
Is Murtha part of Pelosi's 'Culture of Corruption'?

Murtha's handlers have been masterful at keeping Jack out of the 12th district. I think it was their plan all the time. However, it is three weeks out and Murtha has finally begun to attempt to answer Irey's charges. I'm betting he will not be able to keep from lashing out before election day. Hope his staff has the special coat ready.

I am sorry, but while I am happy to see his name, if you look at the list, it is BS!
I am sorry but JD Hayworth is not corrupt, IMO. Curt Weldon? Pete Sessions? Where is Pelosi, Conyers and company!
This is just more election season talking points!
The whole list is republicans with 3-4 token dems thrown in to appear not biased!!!

It does say that they are a liberal watchdog group, so it is not surprising that they threw in Murtha.
There should be other Dems on that list, beyond the ones listed there.
The Reps on that list are demonized and nit-picked by the MSM anyway, given that they have a greater platform by which to do this, regardless of whether or not they have done anything wrong.

After viewing the FBI/ABSCAM tape Murtha shouldn't be on that list, he should have been prosecuted back then and drummed out of Congress.
