Pillow talk: Legislator has own 'hot' moment

When it came out last month that Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger had privately opined that Assemblywoman Bonnie Garcia had a "very hot" temperament because of her ethnicity, the Latina Republican from Cathedral City wasn't mad.
In fact, she said at the time, she was going to keep campaigning for him.
In fact, she reportedly told a high school economics class in La Quinta last Tuesday, "I wouldn't kick him out of my bed." The remark, reported by the Palm Springs-based Desert Sun on Sunday, came when Garcia, who is single, was asked her impressions of the governor, who isn't.
According to the Sun, she told students the governor was funny and liked to play chess during plane flights. Then she talked about his "built" physique -- and put a whole new spin on the old maxim about politics and strange bedfellows.
The Sun reported in Monday's editions that in a written statement Garcia had apologized if her remarks during a "silly" question-and-answer session with students had offended anyone. Garcia did not immediately respond to a request for comment Monday.

Nice to have a sexy Republican in office, but she had no business making her "out of bed" comment in public -- let alone at a school. Bonnie Garcia is not a class act. Hope it doesn't hurt her re-election chances. Rats like this kind of thing, but Republicans often don't.
Any more pics?

Yeah, she really has a shot with him!

It's not the first time she's said something like that. During an Assembly floor discussion of breast cancer in 2003 she said something to the effect of "I can't imagine what that would be like, you know, I've always been told I have a pretty good set.."

The LA Times today, with the same story, has a better picture of her. She's not beautiful, but she's good-looking, and much sexier than most women in politics.
