I go with Levin all the way. Not only do I WANT to listen, I feel I HAVE to, to get his intelligent and well-informed perspective.
I just wish Mark would not refer to Savage so much on air. Maybe Savage does it to Levin too, I don't know.
Mark has nothing to worry about.
If this keeps up Savage will have to come up with a juvenile/nasty nickname for Levin just like he has for Limbaugh, Hannity and O'Reilly. .....if he hasn't already done so...

Driving down I-95 last night from New Yrok to Washington, it was a real treat to listen to all of Mark Levin's show. This is one former inhabitant of The Savage Nation who isn't going back!
One can listen to someone who's intelligent, has facts, and is hilarious, or one can listen to Savage, the Michael Moore of the right.
Not that I'm a fan of Michael Savage Weiner, mind you . . . I had that guy pegged as a fraud years ago.
It's a shame seeing Savage even mentioned in the same breath as the Great One.
I listen to Mark on WABC every day and he keeps getting better, like a fine wine.
Savage could be such a gem, instead of the lump of coal he is.
Savage is a LOON.
I like Mark Levin...I just wish whoever his producer is would look into getting a compressor. His voice is quiet, THEN LOUD, then you turn it down and can't hear him. Come on, figure it out! The whole idea behind a compressor is to get an even output from varying levels of input. Is it just me?
I met Mark at the Free Congress Foundation dinner in 1999, he was at the table next to me. He had some quality people at his table, our Jim, Lucy Anne, Connie and others. After Steve Forbes spoke I went and talked to Mark, asked him where his Rush tie was, he joked with me and pulled on my tie. It was a great night honoring the house impeachment managers, yep vice president (as Rush would say) Lindsey Graham was there. Mark is # 1 uses the Bob Grant "get off my phone" to the well deserving.
Mike is volatile, and so goaded he will spend considerably more time doing things that turn a lot of his audience off, instead of things that turn his audience on:
Mike is good at beating up on libs, recalling his boyhood past, and recounting the merits of dogs, boating and food. In fact, Mike Savage is so good at those things that he doesn't even have to try --that's how he built up a national audience, and before that, an audience in San Francisco, of all places.
So goaded, though, Mike will submit to his own natural vindictiveness, and he will spend time on things that turn his audience off:
Mike will lash out at people who his base might not devote listenership to, but with whom they share many, many ideas; Rush (listen to him very little --I hate golf), Levin (I listen), Hannity (nice, but a younger knock-off of Rush), BOR (whom I completely hate). These are just the first names that occur to me.
Levin should attack:
1. Small dogs, e.g. poodles
2. Yachting
3. Rockstar energy soda
4. Marin county
5. Meatballs
6. Fiji
7. Poetry
8. Skinny-dipping
9. Herbal nutrition stores
Use creative combo's:
"I was going to eat a plate of Italian meatballs washed down with stale, overpriced energy drink, but instead settled for grilled poodle." "I was going to run over poetry-spewing skinny-dipper from Marin trying to swim to Fiji, but I felt sorry for his little dog..."
Lots of combinations are possible --put your writer on it to include as many elements as possible in plausible combinations.
Mark, why do you put up with people who ASK YOU HOW YOU ARE...? Think up some savage retort, or simply hang up on them --they'll catch on....
Savage is almost unbalanced, I swear

Levin News Ping
Not suprising. Savage is an idiot with a large mouth.
I think Levin's format is boring. He reads an article, yells about liberals in a high pitched voice and repeats that for a couple hours. Then there is Savage who sounds like someone on Air America at times. Nevertheless, there are my favorites.
