"Schmuckie Schumer was the last straw for me with Savage." What is the Weiner/Schumer thing I keep hearing you guys talk about?
I thought I was up to speed on Der Weiner's breakdown, but I must have missed the Schumer thing.

During the Port snort Schmuckie agreed with Savage and Savage had him on his show, not once but twice, and Savage slobbered all over him. Quite dusgusting.

Levin is intelligent and sane. Weiner is, well, he seems intelligent enough.

I'm not surprised at all. I figured this guy to be a fraud soon after listening to him.
Sometimes Weiner words sound just like Cindy Sheehan, but with a Jackie Mason delivery.

I think Levin's format is boring. He reads an article, yells about liberals in a high pitched voice and repeats that for a couple hours. Then there is Savage who sounds like someone on Air America at times. Nevertheless, there are my favorites.

Let's see one has a PHD and the other has a what? most people with PH D's are thinking outside the box hence the definition of genius is a person who influences another for good or bad.
Allot of people hate Savage because they can't take the criticism, therefore instead of rebutting the man it's easier to complain. Most people listening to Levin get a sense of security. It's very easy to agree with a yes man.

"How exactly are radio ratings figured? It must be awfully difficult to conduct surveys of radio listeners."
So that's what did Air America in? I knew it. I just knew it.

I cannot find this radio ratings you are talking about. However, I found this from July that says just the opposite of what you are saying.
July 20, 2006 - Savage Slays New York City
As the # 1 Rated Talk Show Host
Savage Slays New York City As the # 1 Rated Talk Show Host San Francisco, CA - Michael Savage and Talk Radio Network celebrate as The Michael Savage Show ranks #1 in News/Talk on WOR in New York City. According to Arbitron's Spring book, Savage leads in the following key demos; Persons 12+ with a 3.6 Share; Persons 25/54 with a 2.7 Share; Men 25/54 (up 35% from last year) with a 3.7 Share, and Men 35/64 with a 4.2 Share. Mark Masters, CEO of TRN and syndicator of The Michael Savage Show, says, "As Michael continues to challenge his audience and himself, the show and the ratings just continue to grow, and New York City is no exception." Talkers Magazine ranks The Michael Savage Show the third largest radio talk show in national syndication with over 8 million listeners tuning in weekly and currently airs on over 300 stations nationwide, 37 on the FM dial.
Bob Bruno, VP/GM at WOR in New York City says, "Michael Savage is an original. Love him or hate him - you cannot ignore him. Michael is a fearless, gritty, tough, funny, street-smart, talk-master - that's why he's number one in New York City and that's why we are proud to have him on WOR."
Program Directors and Station Managers coast to coast are clearly thrilled with the success of The Michael Savage Show. On Savage's home station at Clear Channel's KNEW in San Francisco, Savage consistently dominates, ranking #1 with listeners. Program Director Bob Agnew says, "You can't turn him off. When he talks, people listen, there's never a dull moment, that's why he is the most listened to talk show host in Northern California."
During his 12 year tenure in talk radio, Savage has sparked a lot of controversy and has broken numerous major news stories. He is also the author of four New York Times Best Sellers. His latest book, The Political Zoo, debuted at #20 on The New York Times Best Seller list. During its first week in publication the book also debuted at #13 on Barnes and Noble's Best Seller list. Savage's other best selling books include two #1 New York Times best sellers; The Savage Nation and The Enemy Within, followed by Liberalism Is a Mental Disorder.
An independent-minded individualist, Michael Savage fits no stereotype. He attacks big government and liberal media bias, but champions the environment and animal rights. Trained as a scientist, he holds Master's degrees in medical botany and medical anthropology and earned his Ph.D. from the University of California at Berkeley in Epidemiology and Nutrition Science.
The Michael Savage Show is syndicated nationally by Talk Radio Network. For more information on The Michael Savage Show, call (888) 383-3733. Or visit us on the web at www.talkradionetwork.com or email

Trust me it's something you'll never earn. That's a pretty extravagant insult. But you have no idea what post-graduate degrees I hold, do you?
Piss off back to your pathetic "savage wiener nation." The rest of the conservative movement is laughing at you.

Clearly then we should listen to him for his political opinions. Moreover we need more trained Nutritionist talking about foreign affairs and domestic policy on the radio.

Since you cannot fathom what an education can do to man, I have no help for you. The fact that he holds a Ph.D. onto itself is impressive. I don't mind people who listen to high school drop outs, but remember these people are not challenging your intellect, there repeating everything you want to hear.
I find it hard to believe that so called conservatives on this website rip a man who believes in borders, language and culture. Maybe my educational capacity is not up to par with RNC members.

It's because that SOB Scumbag Weiner (Savage) is a raving lunatic who spends far more time on his show attacking the GOP and Bush, and talking about BS policies that are anything but commercial (price controls on oil???).
For Air Amerika, you can just disregard the drivel. Savage has 8 million listeners... to talk that way about the fellow conservatives is just reckless, and a disgrace...
He's also the whiniest, most depressing host on radio...
