Uh, she doesn't need plastic breastasies to "show a little cleavage". She just has to drop another button. Loosen up, Sandy baby! (Right, Riggo?!) Dress like she does for a night on the town instead of dressing like a scowling Dan Rather. Sex sells. That is what the previous poster was trying to get across. As for me? In not so many words, she just needs to lighten up and get off the Bush bashing routine. She's a cute girl but like most all democrats these days, she is full of a lot of anger and hatred for the President and that washes out the perkiness that made her famous.
I wish Levin wouldn't even give him credence, even to rip into him. There are more important things that Mark should (and does) cover. Mark's monologues are the best, however.
I watched Scheiffer for the time he was on. I refused to watch Rather for nearly 20 years. I watched Couric for about three weeks and that was it for me. I'm watching Charlie now. Not too bad but her demeanor was more like daytime soap opera time. I can't imagine what the CBS executives were thinking. If they would hire a conservative leaning newsman their ratings would soar but they are too stupid to know it.
Right. "Weiner" is savages real last name. Mark just tore into Savage. I don't think Savage has ever mentioned levin since levin is on such few stations at this time. I have heard savage go after Hush Bimbo and Hannity, which I thought was tasteless on his part. I am a ditto head but not much of a fan of Hannity. I find Savage to be a very jealous type. I take him as a person growing up who had sand kicked in his face and now is trying to exact revenge via his radio program. Here's a guy that keeps saying how much he hates SF yet he won't move. There is just something fake about Savage (other than he won't use his real last name or discuss his jewish background). Savage is a great story teller but is too emotional for me. The more I listen to him, the more I don't like him.

Some long in the tooth, but perky chick, that except for making $15M a year to
kill off jobs, revenue, and shareholder value at CBS, is quite vacuous.
If that's the case, CBS News is doomed to failure.

The perky one can still improve her ratings -- she just needs to corner the market on dour left-wing America-hating morons..... there are at least a few millions more of them she could get to watch her..... maybe she needs Keith Olberdork as a nightly special commentator -- then she could corner all of Daily Kos-freaks and DUmmies Underground, etc.
....may couric be the face of the democrat party and may the democrat party come in last, like couric, on November 5.
I heard part of that, Levin was right on the "money."
Now you know, he isn't ON the same team.
Katie would get better ratings if CBS junked the "news" format and had her do an infomercial selling thigh cream or time shares in Tibet.
Even Connie Chung had better ratings.
Maybe CBS will go back to a male-female pairing -- but instead of Rather and Chung, we'll get Michael Moore and Cindy Sheehan. Or Rosie O'Donnell and Barbara Boxer. Or John Kerry and John Edwards.
I still would like to hear what Savage says about this, assuming he even acknowledges that he and his wife gave money to Moonbeam and why. I guess he'll blame it on Teddy.
