I've only tasted coffee once in my life and I hated it. Diet Coke for my caffeine, and yes, in the morning foo. :)

I've been drinking coffee with milk and sugar since I was 7...I suggest Starbucks Icecream as a way to get acquainted with the taste.
Diet Coke doesn't have nearly enough caffeine!
Diet Mountain Dew and Vault will buzz you faster.

LOL --- the candy had nothing to do with my ailments! NOTHING, I tell you, NOTHING. I brush my teeth 6 times a day... after each candy session. :)

Thanks for the information! I'll send him to the store for Diet MD and to look for Vault. I've never heard of Vault.

I make my coffee fresh ground every morning, usually something dark roasted and always quite strong.
I had a boss who would always water the coffee when I made it, and teasingly accused me of using an entire bag of coffee to make one pot...
When I make tea, I won't let anyone sample it without fair warning...not unusual for me to start with 8 or so teabags in a 4 cup pot, and I often leave the teabags in for hours...

It's fairly new...sort of an alternative to the nasty energy drinks...it does come in diet as well.
I do recommend the "Who's your daddy" sugar free energy drinks. It's one of the few that doesn't taste like watered down narcotic cough medicine. Tab energy drink is pretty good. Beware of Rock Star or Full Throttle. IMHO.
But I will admit to a secret fondness for Coke Black. Yummy! But too expensive for me to ruin my diet over.

Love strong rich coffee, but your tea recipe... perhaps it would be great in sweet iced tea.

You're a wealth of information. Thanks, KAC. I hear there's a nasty one new on the market called "Cocaine" -- supposed to numb your throat yoo. foo. too.
